  1. So Im tearing into my 2012 crf250r to do a bottom end rebuild. Once I remove the clutch side engine cover is see what looks to be a few hairline cracks. Before I panic I want to see if these are possibly just casting imperfections. Im wondering this because they seem to be raised instead of a valley. Please help if you have any insight. I really dont want to sink much more money into this build. Thanks

  3. I need to get an engine for my 2012 kx250f. I do not have the orginal its a long story. Anyway I wanted to know if I could use the engine from a 2011 or is there a difference preventing it? I can get the 11 engine a lot cheaper than a 12 which is why im asking.

  5. So I bought a 12 kx250f from a guy off craigslist. He told me the bike had overheated so I figured I'd rebuild the top end and be good. Well I get the bike home and pull the engine out and I notice the mounting point on the head doesn't match the frame. The motor is an 08. So can make this motor work in the frame of do i need to get a 12 engine. I know 08 was carberated and the 12 was fuel injected.
