  2. Hey all, Just installed my yoshimura rs2 full system and have been having alot of backfire on deceleration and engine breaking. The bike has a 3*3 mod and jd jetting. The kit says to use the 165 vs the 155 if you have full exhaust. Could the issue be having the 155 installed and not the 165? Or could it be a header leak. It looks like the flange on one side is just barely not flush but it will not tighten anymore than it already is. If you think it is a header leak what is an easy way to test that? Im thinking its the jetting, but thats just my amateur opinion. Any thougts?

    Converting DRZ400s to sm

    Thank you guys for the responses! My ultimate goal is to have my dirt tires and be able to quickly switch to my street tires. I'm thinking it would be a good idea to stay the same rim size in the back. (To hopefully eliminate need for different chain/sprockets). Would same size in back but smaller in front create the need for anything extra? I'm trying to make this as simple as possible. Thanks guys!

    Converting DRZ400s to sm

    So I have a 2015 drz400s. I have finally had the money to start doing thing I want to the bike. (Exhaust,jetting,hand guards and some other wonderful stuff.) I have noticed that I really ride street about 95% of the time. Obviously having 17'' rims will make for alot better time on the street than the stock s rims. Im quite new to bikes so what is a must when switching from stock s rims to sm rims? The only obvious parts to me are rims and tires. Any opinions?

    2015 DRZ 400S ugly?

    Just out of curiosity does anyone on here have a 15 drz400s and think to themselves.. wow this color scheme is extremely hideous. Ive been wanting to get a plastic kit however the fact that the tank has the sticker underneath the clear coat has steered me away. Been wondering if a black acerbis kit would look good with the stock emblem still on the gas tank. Any thoughts?

    Just installed my JD Kit with the 155 main and the red needle and I gotta say it feels good. Feels like its finally opening up. Also cut the 3*3 in the airbox.

    Hey guys, out of curiosity what are your opinions on stock jets vs aftermarket (jd jetting). I was also considering a 3*3 mod on the airbox. Are both of these things worth the time/money for the performance?

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I swapped the jets when I put it back together because I stupidly assumed they were the same. Just put em back and she is running like a beauty!

    I was doing that to see if it would change anything. It runs the same with door on. I know its not under load but you cant even rev the bike high without it dying. At the end of the video if i held the throttle open it wouldve bogged down until it died.

    Hey all, so my bike is dying when i give it anything over 1/2 throttle. It is completely stock and I have pulled the carb and cleaned the 3 jets. Not very experienced with bikes so any help would be much appreciated. It was running rough when i pulled the carb now it idles perfect but bogs down under throttle. I have changed the plug and have tried running with no air filter. I also took the carb off again to make sure float wasn't stuck.   15. Hi all, just recently cleaned my carb for the first time because my bike was running really rough. I noticed the pilot jet was slightly clogged so i cleaned it and the other two jets. (so i think) Put it back together and now it is idling like new. However, anything over about half throttle and the bike starts to bog down and if you dont let off throttle it dies. Let off and it goes back to idling fine. Did i do a crappy job cleaning the jets or could it be something else in the carb that i didnt clean. (i only cleaned the jets while i had it off) Could it be the slide?
