    New cam buckets

Cams look good and I don't feel and burrs or anything but I checked the clearance last night on the exhaust valves.... and the clearance on both was .10mm and one side had a 165 shim and the other side had a 170 shim I had to drop it down to a 155 and a 160 now the .18mm feeler fits pretty snug and the cam moves real nice once it's torqed down... before I put the new shims in the cam just felt supper tight like it was over torqed so hopefully 2morrow I will know if that's what it was.... but I'm not sure if the stainless valves require a tighter gap clearance since they don't stretch as much as the titanium valves would... idk guess we will find out tomorrow

Oil in my water and water in my oil:(

I can buy a piece of glass I'm sure that would be flat right ahaha.. I might just take it down to a machine shop and have them check it... this is stupid tho you would think when u buy a 600 head it would be flat and checked before it was shipped but I guess not ahah

Oil in my water and water in my oil:(

The crazy thing is even with the bike doing this it still runs good and it's not pushing coolant I didn't notice any crazy bubbles in the radiator and there is no smoke at all only thing I have noticed is the bike is supper choppy at 1/4 throttle and feels like there is no power but once you open the bike up it pulls hard from 1/2-100% throttle I have to have the fuel screw turned out almost 4 1/2 turns to get the low end bog out and it's still choppy throttle at 1/4.... kinda makes me think the jetting is off or the head is lifting and making it lean out

Oil in my water and water in my oil:(

Ok so update I changed the base gasket and upper head gasket... and it's still doing it so I looked closer and sprayed some soapy water around the head and cylinder.... it foamed up like crazy... so I sprayed some brake cleaner all around the head and it didn't rev up or bog at all... so I took it for a ride came back and oil was foaming out between the head and cylinder..... so I gues I should get the head and cylinder resurfaced ahah even tho it's brand new shit idk

Yea that's what I was kinda thinking as well... this one has a collar that goes from the water pump into the the case than a collar that goes from the case into the cylinder... but do you think I should check the water pump seals?? Even tho they are new as well ?
  12. So story... I blew up my bike 3 months ago it sucked a lot of dirt so I did a complete rebuild bottom end new crank new rod all new bearings in the cases pulled apart the trans cleaned it up real nice.... got a new cylinder and piston bought a brand new head from yami new valves/springs everything is new on the top end from the cases up... anyways I started it let it idle for about 10-15 mins the radiator tanks never really got hot they were warm but not hot.... anyways I changed the oil and it was chocolate milk color so obviously water is getting into the crank case.... but how the &%$#@! could it get into my water I'm not losing any water it just has this oiliness film on top of the water the bike didn't smoke at all when it ran... the only place I can even think to look is head gasket but it doesn't make any sense I used new gaskets I torqed the head to the specs in the book....
