    any wisconsin riders in here ?

    It's all singletrack, kinda rutted but fun. The trails are built around the ATV trails, which are sandy and wide. If you don't mind sand, it's fun to run those, need to be plated to run all the ATV stuff. You can run the ATV trail to get to the singltrack with just the state and county sticker. https://www.co.jackson.wi.us/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={072A7209-631D-4450-A14C-CA69A56BD820}

    I'm just north of Madison. I try to get to Crawford hills in Jackson county a couple times a summer, the UP, Nemadji, and Dual Sport rides throughout the midwest. Running studded tires on my woods trails now;)

    Brock Creek AR conditions

    Heading home after 3 days at Brock Creek. Conditions were about perfect, sunny, 70's and dry. No major wrecks. Good stuff there, 27 and 28 are fun.

    Brock Creek AR conditions

    Anybody ride there recently? We were there a few years ago, and are thinking about making another trip in a few weeks. I remember it looking like it likes to flood around the southern end.

    Anybody near Eau Claire Wi?

    If you're near Eau Claire, the trip to Nemadji is well worth it. Lots of single track. The single track in Jackson county is good too.

    General Mn chit-chat

    Yep, been riding all winter, we haven't had much snow this year. A few weeks ago we had a warm up and the snow we did have turned to sheets of ice. That was treacherous. Now we have 8+" on the ground with ice underneath. I spooned these on last week. I have probably 3 hours on them and they are awesome. We'll see how they hold up.

    Yep! That sounds about right:) I think one day our total miles were 6. We're talking about going back this coming spring. We rode Chadwick for about a half day that trip too, it sounds like there's a lot more there as well. We just rode the motorcycle singletrack area.

    I don't remember that trail name, we rode mostly from the campground trailhead east and west up to the zing trailhead. That was our fist time there so we were just exploring, not really knowing where the really good stuff was.

    We rode around Brock Creek Arkansas 2 years ago in early April. Kinda south east part of Ozark NF. Awesome ST, gnarly hill climbs, water crossing, fun two track as well. Lots of options in NW Arkansas and Missouri.

    Should I cancel my ktm exc 500 for a husky 501?

    Stock Husky skidplate sucks. I'm really happy with the SXS.Linkage is awesome.

    Clutch Cable Reroute & Rox Risers ?

    I'm 6'3" and had those on my 525EXC, and they worked well for me on that bike. I did learn that the farther you go away from the centerline of the forks, the steering feel changes dramatically (twitchy).Im now riding a 16 fe501. To me, the bars, and pegs feel higher on the stock FE. I'm using EE bar risers(30mm), just block style with 10,20,30mm options. Blocks and clamps flipped so the bar is all the way forward. There are a few companies making extra length throttle cable and clutch hose to accommodate risers. I didn't need them for the 30mm blocks, but probably would for anything more.
