WRR - Ignition Switch Wiring Diagram Help

Not wishing to seem insulting but have you checked spark at the plug and fuel at the injector? [fuel pumps have problems].... Sorry I can't help with electrical...bought my bike used and with all "new" electrical do-das and mods...great bike! Phil

WRR - Ignition Switch Wiring Diagram Help

I can't remember which wires are the correct ones but my WR250R has the side stand switch bypassed by wiring two of the wires [three total] at the side stand together which in turn allows the engine to run when the bike is in or out of gear and the stand is down...

    Winterizing Delayed?

True...with my chain saw, which has old corn fuel in it but again, I choose not to run degraded fuel in my motorcycles.....bikes are fuel injected chain saw and mowers are not..just my way, perhaps I am wrong...no bigeee

    Winterizing Delayed?

I see California so I assume you are using ethanol fuel....sounds like it works for you...the shelf life of fuel with ethanol is less that non-ethanol; especially in high humidity areas....

    Winterizing Delayed?

Same procedure that I use with my '08 WR250R....lots of good long term stabilizers...I use PRI-G....if you have it, use non-ethanol fuel for storage.

This didn't end well for my son...

Damn how myopic...this was not about him grounding his boy...and I really sorry your life was ruined by being grounded for 3 months....obviously you were abused and forever damaged...and it ruined your relationship with your dad; now sad...what a load of crap..everyone goes through life facing challenges and adversity...grow up and get over it.. To the rest of those slamming the OP....take you egotistical rants somewhere else, they don't belong in this forum or this thread.. Like I asked...is there a moderator on this forum?

This didn't end well for my son...

Ryan, Well stated and to the ding-bats that feel they must pontificate on right and wrong parenting...PLEASE go find a suitable forum to preach and beat your chests .... this is not place for that drivel nor is it called for...remember this about motorcycle riding...got it? Doesn't this forum have a moderator?

This didn't end well for my son...

Jag, This forum is not the correct platform for you post....suffice to say "one size doesn't fit all"....your characterization of this father's actions are way off base... First amendment? Really? You just don't get it; nor will you. Find a forum engaging in the substance and application of the first amendment...this is a motorcycle forum. Move on and don't be judgmental nor a 'preacher'. Phil

You are shitting me right? This guy sounds like a damn fine dad...life has consequences and he is teaching his son just that... Stow your parenting advice....

This didn't end well for my son...

Damn...sorry for your son's injury...hope he heels quickly but make no mistakes the "compression fractures in the T5, T6, and T7 vertebrae"could will come back to haunt him in later life...this from an old man, me, that is paying the piper for "overuse" [abuse] of my body over the years...keep an eye on him... and you seem to be a very caring father so I am sure that is a given!

    WR Street Tires?

Good point and I would not buy a tire based on the price ["$60 why not"]...need the best to stay wheels down and your body intact... Also what will you be using the converted WR250R for? Just street riding or more aggressive pursuits? You say "slick"; track use?

    WR Street Tires?

Goon...turn back before it is too late! Wait, you are in Kalifornica [I am an escapee and can say that..čśë] so going the wrong way makes sense there.. A 26 hp Supermoto defies logic in my world and the WR250R is a great do it all bike off road...just my opinion and I could be wrong..

    Sorry...but WR250R tires...

Just differing views I guess...for me, not made out of money!, I buy the best tires available and suck up the extra expense...only two contact points and I need all the help I can get...on my WR250R I do not feel the 606 tire diameter is too tall, in fact I use a 14T/52T set of sprockets...and the tire has never interfered with the frame or fender...I do set the sag....hey, my bike is way more 'nimble' than me! čśë

    Sorry...but WR250R tires...

Disagree about 606 being too big for WR250R there are thousands of WR250Rs running them and liking them...same with MT21...Kenda is a personal choice; not one I would make..... Again, to each their own, but lots of us swear by the MT21/606 combo for off road and the pavement to get there... Phil
