    1999 rm125 clutch question

you wont really know until you look inside. you will probably need a basket though. if the old basket has groves worn into it where the friction plate come in contact with it thoses plate will get stuck it the grooves and the clutch will not disengage. so it would need replaced. it should be smooth. and the clutch kit wouldnt be a bad idea either. especially if its never been replaced being that old and the clutch working like it does now.

    Plug life span

i use i br8eg in my 04. the reason for the expensive plug is because suzuki was having problems with the electrode breaking off in the cylinder but many guys run cheaper plugs without problems. if using the cheap plugs replace them more often though. and as far as jetting goes if its perfect you could still foul the plug but really only if your not reving it high enough. and if you have spooge then somewhere in your jetting is too rich so dont be afraid to go leaner. just make sure you do it on the jet that is to rich. some guys use the cheaper plugs to nail down there jetting first then run the expensive ones. if you do that use the br8eg or br8es since they spark as "hot" as the suzuki spec plug. the br9es has less of a spark.

It's my first track bike and 2-smoke and it is awesome! Trails are still king tho. Like to work on it and just added a boyesen RAD valve. gotta dial it in a little more.
