I definitely want functionality out of the bike but I don't want the moped look either, you can really fit a 160 with no problem it looks like a tire that big would hit the chain Sent from my SM-G950U using ThumperTalk mobile app

I have a 2013 WR450F that I will be putting 3.5"x17" front rim and 4.25"x17" rear rim on. What is the biggest rear tire I can put on with out hitting the chain?
  7. My chain guides are baked and time for new ones and I really want the TM design works chain slider with the guide fins but I can't find them for my 2013 WR450F. Will and chain slider of that style for a yz250f or 450f work on my bike. The fitment years say other wise or is there some stupid adjustments I can make to make it work. I really don't want to keep chewing my tires up or sub frame.

    Suspension Set-up

Anybody know what weight rider the factory suspension is setup for on a 2013 WR450F. I'm 165lbs and I ride in New England where it's all loose rocks, mud, roots and tight trails. I'm looking for suggestions to stop my front end from washing out in berms and beating me up on technical trails with a lot of rocks. I don't want to go do my own thing with the click adjusters with out having a good base to start from so I don't get used to the wrong set up. Any help is appreciated thank you.

    2013 WR450F Beginner to Mapping

I know this thread is old but I installed the comp ecu, power bomb header with gytr FMF silencer, and down loaded the Hollis map. Bike runs great now and very smooth but when I was monitoring the bike as it was idling and warmed up the water temp hit 245... that seems pretty high or is that normal and antifreeze started to go back to reservoir but didn't go past the line.

So I purchased the tuner and programmed the Hollis map into the power tuner. I plugged it in and it says failure to connect to ECU when I went to download. I pulled number plate off and the ecu is the 1DX2. I think that is stock in which previous owner lied when I pursued the bike. Is it stock? Can it receive a map? What am I doing wrong I just want to ride this thing.

    2013 WR450F Beginner to Mapping

Thanks a lot for the response. I was trying to read up on what people where doing for there mapping and just seemed like people where taking the bush map and Aussie map and just changing random numbers with out much thought or knowledge of with they where doing to the bike. Now the map you just gave me will the header not be red hot after 20 minutes, and is this going to effect my idle a lot?
  14. My bike has FMF gytr slip on, hopefully power bomb header soon, comp ecu, throttle screw swapped out, and air box derestricted. I'm trying to find a map that would be great for woods riding in the northeast and anybody who lives in the northeast knows the random trails we find are not forgiving. I don't want to loose all the mid and top end power and torque of the bike seeing as it is registered for the road but I definitely need something controllable in tight tight trails. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you.
