  1. UPDATE: Loaded the Map for Slippery conditions, and it made the bike much more manageable. Very fun ride! Ran about dead-even with my 2013 YZ 250, maybe a little advantage to the 2016 on the top-end. I have the G2 Throttle Tamer on my bench now, which I will install this week.
  2. Thanks much. I will give it a try. I also spoke to Sam at G2 (great guy) and ordered the Throttle Tamer today. He took the time and explained the physics involved in mellowing out the throttle hit. We'll see how it goes.

  4. Ok, I wasn't sure to what extent I can tune it, but I will take what I can get. At the very least I would like to take the edge off the intitial throttle response. As the bike is tuned now, it is difficult to hold anything between idle and go-fast.
  5. I know we are always looking to match our bike tuning to conditions, and with that in mind, I ordered the GYTR Tuner for my 2016 YZ250F. My question is: Are there settings/maps that I can use to "De-tune" the machine when my younger sons are riding the bike? They are still getting used to the power, and I would like to ease them into it a little bit. As you know, the fuel injection is a little like an on/off switch, and I'd like a more gradual throttle response for them, and maybe a little less power overall for a while. Thoughts?
