  1. Ok to me it sounds like and ignition problem. First check the gap on your plug. Make sure you are getting spark by touching the plug to the head and turning it over. This will make sure you are getting a full circuit to the actul head. Clean the threads in the head very well where the plug goes in.
  2. Can you smell raw fuel in the exhaust or when it back fires through the intake?
  3. Check the cylinder compression, might be a bad valve seat.
