So I bought a '17 Husky 450. It never seemed to run as good as other 450's. I now have 11 hours on it. It started ticking and seized. 10 minutes later cooled down it restarted and got me back to the truck. Started it one more time for one minute then it died. So tore it apart and found many problems. It seemed to have plenty of oil in the top but the cam was flat and the rocker arm was destroyed, but not the rocker shaft. The shims had fallen out, probably why it finally quit. The piston had seize marks and cracked the cylinder near the bottom. Has anybody else had a cam go flat with this little time on it? Was the cam not hardened properly? Any ideas or suggestions?
