Shell Rotella Diesel T4 15w-40 for Suzuki LTR450?

What about either one of these two I posted? Would they work? They have a pretty limited selection at the store, I was hoping one of these 2 would be compatible with my quad. Thanks for the response.
  2. Recently got a 08 Suzuki LTR 450, my first four stroke so I don't know too much yet about these engines. As far as I can figure out, the recommended oil for it is 10w-40 synthetic, but my local auto parts store doesn't have synthetic 10w-40 for gasoline engines, only this stuff (see pictures) that says it's for "Heavy Duty Diesel Engine". The guy there said the diesel label doesn't matter, he uses it in his quad (a 4x4). So I want to know, can I use this oil in my 450? Or is it strictly for diesel? Have any of you used this oil? Thanks in advance.

08 Suzuki LTR 450 sensor issue

Okay wow, that explains it. Thanks! I'm coming from a 2 stroke bike so I don't know too much about these engines.

08 Suzuki LTR 450 sensor issue

Found a steal of a deal on a 2008 Suzuki LT-R450 that I couldn't pass up, it starts and runs good and has quite of bit of work done to it, but there's a couple things I'm going to have to do before it's rideable. My biggest concern right now is this, it looks to me like a sensor that's just hanging/dangling underneath the hood. What is this? Is it supposed to be hanging loosely like that? If i'd find a service manual I would check myself but I cant seem to find one for the 2008, only the 06. Would anyone have a download link for a .pdf of the service manual for a 08 LTR450? Thanks in advance.

  6. Would the Shell Advance Snow Ultra High Performance Synthetic 2 stroke snowmobile oil work for my KX125? It says it's for snowmobiles but is there much of a difference? It's fully synthetic, and it says "Premix or Injection" on the back. This is the only oil that the local Canadian Tire, Walmart, and Auto Parts store sell, well this and 1 other brand for gardening tools, but I don't think I should use that. Plus, my work has an account at the auto parts store that sells this, and my supervisor said I could just add it to our monthly bill, so I wouldn't even have to buy it if I could use this oil. I am planning on making a 32:1 mix.
  7. Thanks, this information will be very helpful.
  8. Thanks for your opinion, I still have my ad up saying I need a brake, hopefully I will get some more offers.
  9. Thanks for your insight. The guy who I want to buy it from said he was going to use it on a drift trike but gave up on that project before he used it, said he got it from a friend, but he wasn't 100% sure of the year of the bike it came off of.
  10. I bought a used bike online, 2002 KX125, it doesn't have a front brake line or front brake lever/master cylinder, but it does have the brake caliper and brake disc (stock Nissin brake). So I put a ad on a local classifieds site saying I need a brake and someone offered me the brake line, master cylinder, and brake lever off a 2007 CR125 (see attached pictures). So what I want to know is, will the brake line from the Honda bike fit my KX? Is the banjo bolt that attaches brake line to the brake caliper the same size? This is my first 'real' bike so I don't much about the technical stuff like this, and I couldn't find any information online regarding the size of the banjo bolt on the different makes.
