    What would you do?

I am definitely getting a truing stand for future services. I was in a time pinch to get it done before mini nights tonight that’s why I had the shop do it.

    What would you do?

I used a micro meter off the flat spot on the inside of the fork tube. I installed the wheel and gave it a spin when I noticed the wobble. There isn’t any special way to install the front wheel with these forks. But I do throw the axle in and snug it down and compress the forks before torquing it to 58ftpnds

    What would you do?

It’s a brand new rim, spokes, wheel bearings, tube and tire. The only part original is the hub.

    What would you do?

Just had the rim and spokes replaced and trued by a well known dealer. Brand new rim has scrapes and paint scratches from trueing. It has at least a 1/8” wobble not sure about hub centering but from the work seen from eye I can only guess it’s off.

Weisco crank slips into new bearing

We have been working on his starts for about a month now, next time I will have him try second gear. That was his first gate drop and he said he was a little nervous.

Weisco crank slips into new bearing

Ok guys my boy finally raced the kx60 at TWMX at Glen Helen today. 5th overall, 8th first moto w/ crash, 2nd second moto. My boy went up against brand new KTM’s, husky’s and Kawi’s. I was surprised on his finished because his mother wouldn’t let him race until today and now she is all into it. The 60 held its own against 65’s out of the corners and the start. I also just got him a 03 KX 65 he needs more seat time on before racing. More to come in thread for sure.

    New to me Kx65.

I tried looking for a diagram but can’t find how the cables are supposed to be ran. I will take the rotors off and see if the spin freely. Thank you.

    New to me Kx65.

Does anyone know how to run the clutch cable on 03X 65? The way it’s ran now hits the pipe and the part number for the strap that holds the throttle cable to the frame. I just picked up an 03 kx65 that needs a little help. The tires probably only do one rotation before stopping do you think it needs grease or new bearings. Any help will greatly appreciated.

    Yz125 exhaust ring keep breaking.

I tried fatter o rings and couldn’t get them to work. They kept pushing down into the pipe. I put the new oem rings back in with a ton of RTV.

    Didn’t work.

    Yz125 exhaust ring keep breaking.

It’s cracked and wiggles a lot. Crossing my fingers that this is the cause. My cylinder exhaust port might be worn because I can feel grooves in it but not sharp due to the broken o rings. I will start my hunt on thicker o-rings.

i ordered a new muffler stay. This one is rotten, hopefully this is my problem. I went over all the bolts and they are tight. Motor was rebuilt last January and has about 15 hours on it tones of power and sounds fine.

From the front where the pipe connects to the cylinder. Before with the broken o rings it sounded terrible like rocks rolling around in pipe. Now it’s a vibration sound coming from the front but if I blip the throttle I can see my pipe shake at least a 1/4” in vibration
