    Oversize bars on 2013

Can you run oversize bars on a 2013 without interfering with the fork air valves? Anyone know if the HRC bar clamps fit the 2013? Happy Holidays

    2013 Shock Springs

Where are you guys finding replacement rate shock springs for your 2013's?
  3. I'm in AZ and I sent mine to MX Time in Indiana. The guy did a great job on my 250F, so when it came time for the 450, I sent it to him too. I think his name is Dave. I had him install the Faction SS kit, and I have 170 hrs on the head, 270+ on the bike itslef. That Faction set is bulletproof and I notice no change in performance (Vet, Int.) Good work, reasonable prices.

2007 450R Why do my rear brakes no longer work??

Thanks guys. You talking rebuild kit for master cylinder or caliper?
  5. Weird. I've noticed having to fill the resevior a couple times over the past 6 months, but no obvious leaks. They will work on the stand, but riding it....no way. I've bled all the air out. Still wont stop me when riding. Anyone else have this prob or have any advice? After bleeding all the air out, not sure if the prob is m/c, brake line or caliper.

    A word to the wise

Ha ha!!! And wouldn't you know it...? There's a banner add at the bottom of the thread page. Hilarious. I'm done with them. I unsubscribed to their lame-*ss email bulletins.
  7. Bike Bandit.com is a joke. I haven't been on here for a while, but I have to 1)Vent 2)Warn you not to waste your time. I got hosed not once, but twice in 48 hrs. First they advertise Ricky Carmichael Carbon Fiber V3 Helmets on July 4th- only to inform me 24 hrs later they do not have them in stock after I placed my order. Second, I order the other V3 Carbon Fiber the next day, only to find out 24hrs later they can't get one. Stop advertising things you cannot get!!! Those guys are a joke, and I'm going to let everyone I know, in on it. Unbelievable. I thought I'd give them a second chance after not honoring a gift card from Transworld MX Magazine a few years back. Come to find out they still SUCK and delivering product and service.

06 CRF450 is Very Hard to Kick Over!!!

I went through the same thing earlier this season. It was one tooth off. I didn't even know there was another timing mark on the left side.

    Riddle me this....

After much research, I think I'm off a tooth. This according to similar probs others have had. My new question is, should I move the can clock-wise a tooth or counter clockwise a tooth?

    Riddle me this....

You might be on to something there, Diesel. Can you please explain how to check and adjust "decompression clearance". I bet you nailed it. Just need to know how to check/adjust. Thank you in advance!!!

    Riddle me this....

Thanks man. Everything lines up perfectly. I have a long skinny screwdriver verifying TDC. Turns over fine without the spark plug-lol. I can't find anything wrong with the d compressor, but at the same time I can't even see where it's adjustable. It moves the plunger and hits the exhaust lifter on it's stroke....

    Riddle me this....

07 with 100 hrs. Fresh piston, new stainless valves/springs professionally installed by MX Time for e-z bolt on. Harder than heck to kick over. It WILL fire and runs super strong! But you about die kicking it. Almost like the enigine is siezing. Hot, cold, doesn't matter. I've run it for a few hours thinking it would smooth out. Wrong. I can't handle the hard kicking any longer. I finished dead last in a moto because I stalled out of the gate and the field had completed a lap by the time I got the b*tch started. And by that time I was spent. I took the head cover off and spark plug. Piston at TDC, timing marks on right line up perfectly, cam lines up with timing mark on cam holder and cam marks are lined up horizonally with head. Decompressor is lined up exactly like it's shown in the manual, and activates the plunger just fine. I am stumped. Any advice? Do you guys think the cam chain may have stretched? The piston is OEM. I think the only thing I can do is rotate the cam one way or the other, but that doesn't make sense to me as everything lines up by the book at TDC??????
