Yea, I did remove the insole yesterday and noticed it wasn’t anything super special

Typical US shoe size is 11.5 My A stars were a 45 however the cross 2's felt a bit tight at a 45. I ordered the X3's in a 46

X3’s came today very comfortable right out the box a tiny bit pinchy in the ankle area when flexing them forward but I think it’s because they’re new. When my a stars were new I had to put water inside to break them in, don’t think it’ll be necessary with these. I’ll update after some rides.

Me too. They waited two weeks to send me an email telling me the ones I ordered were no longer available So I ordered another more expensive pair.

I haven’t received the x 3’s yet but did try on a pair of cross 2’s and I could tell right away that the Sidi boots were what I wanted. My old A star tech 5’s were a size 45 but I bumped up to a 46 in the Sidi’s after trying on the cross 2’s. Hopefully the X3’s show up this week and I’ll be able to give better feedback.

    250 jetting database

One for the older bikes. This bike had a 175 main and 45 pilot installed when I purchased it last summer. Loaded up constantly when lugging trails. Year: 99 Model (E,W,XC,M): EXC Carb size (38 or 36mm): 38mm Slide: stock (I think) Main jet: 165 Pilot Jet: 35 Air screw (turns out): 1 3/4 Needle model/Clip position: N85C/2nd Altitude where you ride: 2500-6000 Reeds: Boyesen rad valve Pipe/silencer: FMF gnarley turbine core 2 Head mod: Unknown unsure how to tell. Other mods: Type of fuel: 92 pump gas at 50:1 super M Where in the powerband do you ride (Lugger - for technical stuff, or wide open - desert / MX): Lugger Degree of satisfaction: leaner jetting definitely cleans things up, still needs tweaking but much better. And finally: how much spooge 1) none, 2) little, 3) medium, 4) lots: 2-3 Notes: Adjusted float level a touch lower than normal. The reason: Carb sets in the bike tilted forward quite a bit, so far so good.

Time to pull the carb and check it out. Choke circuit too.

So you've changed nothing? I'd say clean the air filter then check the float level. Maybe the float valve isn't seating properly.

Good to hear, a lighter duty version of the cross 2 should be suficiant for my use.

Thanks for the replies guys! Tried on some new Sidi cross 2's yesterday. They're very comfy outa the box, way less bulk up top and actually fit my skinny ass legs Found some X 3's for a great price online so have them on the way.

Just tried on the Forma's I ordered, they're going back, to tight in the toe area and super big and bulky around my skinny ass shin/calf area. On to the next boot.....

That's great info, were they Crossfire 2's? I'm guessing the crossfire 3's are the same just new for 18?
