  1. When in doubt, swap it out. Not worth the risk.
  2. I don't know much, but it sounds like a fuel issue. Is fuel flowing to the carb? Did you get the jets really clean?
  3. Most of the Chinese bikes are practically the same with very minor differences. I'd try something like this and see if it works. https://www.buyatvpartsonline.com/piston-kit-07-chinese-125cc-atv-engines-p-9645.html
  4. I don't think you'd have any issues running 91 in it.
  5. Your post actually helped me realize the piece was missing off my bike as well. So we helped each other out!
  6. Look up the one for a 1999 kdx 220. I just bought one the other day. Part 16002-1057 on rocky mountain.
  7. Looks like a PWK to me.
  8. Have you tried cracking the throttle a little while kicking?
  9. Clean and oil air filter, lube the chain
  10. I know on the newer kdx the float seat is not removable. Not sure about the older models.. Just FYI
  11. Also this video is good while you're in there.
  12. Here's a pretty good write up on it http://justkdx.dirtrider.net/floatlevel.html
  13. Are you sure it has spark? Are you able to hold the spark plug to the cylinder while kicking and see a spark? If so, you may check the float level.
  14. Practice practice practice it'll take a while to get the hang of it. Keep all the weight on your left leg. It also helps to have it at the top of the stroke where from the top kickstarting position you only have to move your foot only an inch or two to feel the compression.
  15. Kdx220 or 200. Great trail bikes. Practically indestructible and pull like a tractor.
