    UUUMMMM yea, Pretty sure the fluids went where they were supposed to. Got a question for you, was the stroker kit and porting worth the cash? I Think I might be buying some new parts soon..

    I managed to finally squeeze an hour into looking at my bike. I have it partially disassembled. here are more pieces to the puzzle. The bearings on the intake cam shaft are afu and some are missing, the retainer for them is bcrumpled. I pulled the spark plug and it is smashed flat. The cam shain wont move an inch. the kick starter still wont budge. I gotta quit for the time being, the rest of the week is booked, I miht get to do more disassebly tomorrow. Would you believe I "Have" to go to a horse show instead of working on old Blue? That just aint right. Women.....

    The Kick starter won't budge, it has been about 6 hours, the bike has cooled off. I can shift gears, if that helps any.

    Was riding to top off my tank, noticecd some ratteling, sounded like valves. I was slowing to pull over and the engin, stopped dead and the ass end locked up. I puled in the clutch and coasted off the road. Kick start wont even budge. It isn't leaking any oil and I had only ridden 1/2 a mile. It does have oil, that I did check and coolant.I won't have a chance to tear into it till next weekend, any Ideas of what all I FU**** up? Also, Has any one come up with a good way of telling your wife you think you just blew $500 plus when she was comlaining about me buying $5 and $10 dollar parts.

    Ok, Taffy, got the 158MJ and the DMM. I won't mess with the needle till I get things sorted out. I have not had the chance to put it in yet. I will let you know how it goes. Next time I make it to England I'll buy you a few. Matt

    That looks like one well built fender guard, with my looping skills I think I will get one, you said it converts to about $68 us dollars?

    Thanks folks, I think we will get it sorted out. I work all week 9amtill well, dark. I work full or half days on about 1/2 of the saturdays. I do get Sundays off. Taff, I fave the PAJ screw, that I can do but I think most of my main jets are larger. I'll find one though. Thanks for the response On wayne hills I think they refer to it as Hanging Rock? I'll check the map today at work and let you know for sure.Matt

    I am in Portsmouth, on the Ohio River. I drivr a lot too by profession, Would be willling to meet somewhere closer if Ports is to far. It is not to far to the Ironton part of Wayne National Forrest from here, if you are familiar with it.

    Well Taff, here is what I have. Stock pipe, baffle out, Air Box Open, Throttle Restricter Cut, Gery wire cuy. Dual sport kit installed. ZY timing MAJ 160 MJ 150 needle EMN c6 PJ 35 PAJ screw, 3/8 out Pilot screw 1.5 turns exhaust stock but uncorked YZ or WR timing airbox set up altitude 1000 ft give or take a little temp 50's med humidity help, I don't feel like i am getting all the power that others on here are getting .

    I have copied Taff's jetting to the letter except for an EMN I have tried c1-7 on that little sucker too.I get sputtering when I wick the throttle, my spark plug is black, it seems to run hot and the damned thimg don't want to idle below 7,000 RPM's, Ok, 7,000 is a bit of an exageration but it still idles way to fast. on the bright side I can on occasions get snap wheelies in third with my 190 lbs ass. To many people ate talking about the benefits of his timing, What the hell am I mising? HELP

    Loop out, Hell I'm not embarrased, I think that what got the whole thing started. Not a complete loopout. I saved it but did scrappe the frnder and bend my tag and bruised my pride. Any info on WHERE to get a good fender brace?
  14. I have a UFO rear yz fender, it came pre assembled with a tail light brale light and tag holder. Well over time and miles I'm getting the dreades whitish stres arks is SEVERAL diffferent locations, Another hunrded miles and I figure it will be gone. Has anyone had this problem or know of a solution to it?
  15. 02 wr 426 yz timed, air lid off, stock pipe spark arrestor out, grey wire cut, throttle stop cut, BK mod w/.25 sec duration squirt. I recently changed needles and a couple of jets based on what I have read here and I think it ran better stock. everything in the carb is stock except for the following changes. Pilot Jet 35 EKP @6 155 Main Jet Pilos screw 1.5 turns I am at 1000ft temp 60's. PLEASE help
