    2009 Ride Review.....Novice

What did he do to the suspension? I was thinking of sending my front and rear to Pro Circuit for re-valve and tuning.

    2009 Ride Review.....Novice

I have the 2009 CRF450 and I have had the stalling problem mant times. When it happens it feels like the bike has ran out of gas and then it takes 20 kicks to get it started. I plan to order the power/tach meter and try setting the rpm at 1850 and see if that helps. Just like others have said above, the bike handles well and has great power. I have changed a lot out on my bike including intake, wheels, exhaust, levers, bars, etc. I have lightened the bike up considerably and feel an improvement in power with the full Yoshimura RS-4 system. I have also purchased the HRC PGM-FI Tool and will have the bike on the dyno in the next month for fun at a local race shop. I was hoping that there were mapping programs available for the bike, but I haven't found any yet. John

    motoutah???

I can shed some light. The site is ran by two guys who both work full-time jobs and have families. Our interest was to get the new site up and running and then add the content as we have time. We are also learning a new programming language in the process of doing the new site which has a bit of a learning curve. When it is done the site will have all of the pictures, videos and maps that you could ever want. Please be patient and check back. John (450Thumper)
  7. This a link to pictures and helmet cam video from the Goshen Valley Motocross track in Goshen, UT from 9-24-05. The video is 40 megs. The track is a little rough, but definately a lot of fun! Goshen Valley Link John

Helmet Cam: 5 Miles of ROCK!

The rocks are about 8 minutes into the trail and don't stop till about the last 5 minutes. The problem with that particular area is knowing how to find the trail since there are hunreds of spurs, so I wanted locals to know where I was at on the trail. The helmet cam does take a lot of the definition out of the film. I was also using a new helmet cam with higher resolution on a cloudy, rainy day. John
  10. I just shot some helmet cam video from 5-Mile Pass, in Utah, today. It is from one of my favorite risdes in the area. The video is 25 minutes long and 95 megs, so Broadband is a must. The video is listed under videos at the bottom of the page. 5-Miles of Rock! John

    rockey mountain?

The best online retailer that I have used is MotoSport Outlet . They get my order shipped the same day and I usually have it on my doorstep within three days using ground. By the way, I could drive my car to Rocky Mountain and buy the stuff in person, but MotoSport has been much better. IMHO, John

    05 450 Motor Mods

What about Hot Cams? I am thinking of putting one of these on my bike, but I haven't seen any dynos or read any personal reviews on the cams. Maybe someone from TT has tried them. John
