    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

William, I am a Keihin dealer and sell both new and refurbished carburetors. I also custom build sets for bikes with spacing not offered and also drift cars that use FCR carburetors. Based on experience and situations that have dealt with my business I need to set rules, policies, terms and conditions for my business. About those who thought they bought new carb for $500..... lets be real now, the new carburetors have pink hoses and do not come with adapters mounted or throttle cables. There are 2 tabs on the website one is "NEW CARBURETORS" and the other "REFURBISHED CARBURETORS", it is pretty clear what you are buying when you are on the site. So the persro who said I tricked them is full of it. Why no refunds?? for the same reason that TT charges the 20% restocking fee. Every carb is built to order once ordered(special order) so If you decide you want to buy something that means you want it and there is no reason to return it for a refund. I have spent time and money making the order and that passed time cant be reversed. I do not sell bad parts nor do I have any intention on selling a bad part, if something is not right with the part I will gladly exchange it with in 14 days and this is listed in my "TERMS & CONDITIONS" of the site that someone has to agree before placing an order. I would say charging a customer 20% restocking fee to accept the return is deplorable. In my case with the TT return policy I would refund the buyer $400 on the $500 they paid. The re-stock fee is the most UN-proffessional move a business can have. Just like on the TT site, it writes on the first line "ATTENTION: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEB SITE. USING THIS WEB SITE INDICATES THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS ("TERMS"), DO NOT USE THIS WEB SITE. Nothing is hidden or deceptive on the site. I have served thousands of people with carburetors since 1999 around the planet, I do my best and keep everyone happy. Like every business there are some customers that cant be pleased. It happens to the best of us. Not to hold this against you but If you look online ThumperTalk also has bad reviews. Go look on bizrate.com and you will see that TT has 6% negative reviews in the past 3 months and 4% negative in the 1 month. Again this is example and not to pick a bone with you, it happens to best us. http://www.bizrate.com/reviews/thumpertalk/114768/ https://www.yelp.com/biz/thumpertalk-las-vegas

    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

I simply responded to those that were second guessing my business, im not here to spend 2-3 hours a day chatting. Only a thief would assume parts are stolen, you are entitled to your opinion but your cant fabricate your own facts..... What exactly are your intentions now with this ongoing messaging?? You looking to buy something?? or just have too much free time in your hands?? How my business operates is only for me to know...... unless we are partners......or you pay my bills........ you will not find out. If you have questions regarding the product or need help fixing your carb I can assist but you, Please do not ask how I run my business because that topic is not for me and you to talk about.

    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

Where I get the carburetors from is not for discussion or information to be shared. that is part of my business, Ive been in business since 1999 when these carburetors were new and I have a large inventory. Asking me where I find them is like asking somebody where they dug and found gold...... nobody will tell you. I have both with and without removable airbox adapters. The jetting guide was shared to me back in the day by a customer who also showed the installation guide on drz400parts.Com (pic below)

    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

I do shop on ebay, I do have bikes of my own, a few cars, a boat and lots of guns. I do like scoring deals on KTM parts for my bikes and other things alos. Just because I shop on ebay doesn't mean that my purchases are carburetors. I buy bike parts, gun parts, boat parts, atv parts...... so just because I buy from people who part out bikes that doesnt mean I only buy carburetors. Here are some screenshots below of my purchase history if that makes you happy lol

    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

When I pasted the link in the message the letter "R" got cut off in the end. That is the process of servicing a carburetor, if the carburetor is junk I don't rebuild it. And there is no way to polish out a groove. https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=keihin-fcr&rt=nc

    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

I have seen them all, when I get to the point where people want to extort you you just have to tell them to kick rocks. You also have all these "YouTube certified" mechanics that think by watching a video they can fix their motorcycles and are certified mechanics. then turn into keyboard operators trying to slander the business. This year alone I sold 193 refurbished 39mm carburetors for the DRZ400 alone, I do my best to keep everybody happy and in a professional manner. There are just some people that are never happy, when they don't get their way they cry on forums.

    Question About FCR39 MX Carb

you can read the details of the service that the carburetors go through here: http://www.keihin-fcr.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=67&product_id=59 My return policy is "RETURNS FOR EXCHANGE ONLY - NO REFUNDS" meaning if there is something wrong with the part I can exchange it but I do not offer refunds. The reason I dont offer refunds is because people would want to return the carburetor a month down the road after the found one somewhere else for cheaper and I also have had people return the old carburetors and trying to pull a scam.
