    Getting back into MX

Thanks for the responses. Between Christmas and New Years I was able to take advantage of the Suzuki rebate and bout a brand new 2017 RMZ 450 for $6250 otd.

Any particular reason why or that is just what you’re used to? I only ask because obviously after owning a Suzuki and having good luck with it I would definitely consider another one. Otherwise had I never owned one I probably wouldn’t even consider it because they get beat up pretty bad in the MX shootouts. I think mostly because they have changed so little on them over the years.
  3. Hi all, new to the site but I have been lingering for a while. I raced MX for about 10 years and stopped back in 2010 with my last machine being a 2007 RMZ450. I had really good luck with that bike. Since then I have been doing a lot of trail riding and have owned several different atvs and even a sport SxS. After all of these I have always known my heart was set on riding a bike. So with that said I am now 33, married, and have 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl. I really doubt I would do anymore racing but I would still like to ride the MX tracks and trail ride. I am definitely set on another 450 MX bike. My problem is I have been out for so long I’m not sure where to start. I have been looking a lot at the Suzuki’s and the Yamaha’s. Both look like great bikes. I can find really good deals on leftover new bikes. There are a few used Yamaha’s with very low hours out there. I would not be against buying a used bike if it is extremely low hours and not raced. Basically something someone bought and didn’t like. Anyway given the choice between the 2 which is my better option? Thanks in advance
