    swapping out a bottom end

will you guys please give me the best links that you know of for swapping out a bottom end? I blew up second gear the other day and bought a brand new bottom end off of eBay. My top end and clutch are basically new so I just need to swap the bottom ends out. There is a decent shop here, but they are booked until august. Thanks

I'm going to say it one more time. Drew is RETIRED he works on bikes for ENJOYMENT. He does quality work at a fair price and TAKES HIS TIME FOR ENJOYMENT. Have you ever sat back and enjoyed something?? He is an extremely busy person because he is highly sought after. If you are in a BIG HURRY don't send your stuff to him unless it has been prearranged that he is going to knock it out at the speed that someone who DOESNT DO WHAT THEY DO FOR ENJOYMENT. I got my cylinder head that Millenium screwed up back from him recently and it's awesome. HE IS NOT SOME MCDONALDS, "yes sir gunna bust my ass and get it right to ya all the condiments in a clump hanging off the side but I don't care because I made it in three seconds". P.s. Please send 50,000 messages daily and call etc. asking about how to build badass fast as shit, reliable drzs and what not and have a cow when I don't respond. I'm not trying to be rude, but give the man a break. If you built a 65 hp drz your phone, email, fb would be ringing off the hook too. He probably doesn't even carry it. Make sure you have plenty of time, send it and be patient, don't bother him, and DONT TALK TRASH. BEFORE you send it do YOUR PART and get an eta from him and then and only then if he doesn't come through bombard him with all of this "another Eddie" NONSENSE. I'm telling you he's a good guy and I just got my head back from him. You disrespect me as well when you talk trash. My word is good.

If that's the case I can wait. Do you know when he's back in town? no, I just know that when he finished my head he said he was preparing to go on vacation for a month. I'm not sure when he left or when he will be back.

Thoughts on taking a Suzuki Drz400sm cross country?

If you stay below 60 or so with the stock gearing the bike should run like a champ and get decent mpg. Your butt on the other hand will probably say no more after a couple of hundred miles. Back roads all to yourself would be ideal for a cross country trip on a drz, make sure there are fuel stops.

    Myer's Racing review

As requested by other people here in the drz forum here is my review of Myer's Racing. I installed my rebuilt head with the custom Moldstar90 valve seats last night and my bike runs better than new. Drew was very helpful from the first time I contacted him and throughout the job, and he continues to offer support for any questions that I have about my bike in general. He built my head cheaper and better than any of his competitors could. I will definitely use him for any head work I have in the future and potentially have him do other work for me. So there you have it, five stars out of five stars.

I didn't have it ported, but I could have for less than Millenium wanted without porting. . Hit 74jimbo up when he gets his engine back from Drew.

you need to hit him up on his FB page to find out. His laptop crapped out and he can't get on TT with his phone. His FB page is under Myer's Racing.

that is correct. I just got my head back from Myers Racing. Too bad I initially screwed up by sending it to Millenium Tech. For what they wanted to charge me for oem valve train, kw guides, and kw seats I could have had oem valve train with Ferrea valves, brass guides, custom tooled moldstar90 seats, and ported for less $. Myers Racing also has the same Newen machine as Millenium. To my knowledge NOBODY in this country and possibly the world can build a better drz head than Myers Racing, and IT WILL BE CHEAPER!! I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed. Be aware that during race season he is extremely busy, but I guess that's a no brainer isn't it??

just got my head back from this cat. He installed moldstar90 seats in it for me🙂. I'd think twice about knocking this guys abilities. He isn't a parts swapper he is an engine designer and has worked with major companies to design their engines. He is also a retired helicopter mechanic. Also he has previously said that that dyno read low, and if people wanted to give him a hard time about it he would take it to his buddies shop and run it on the dyno there that reads 10hp higher. The guys legit. Period.
