    FCR 39 Mid Body Rebuild

Never have done this, so take it with a grain of salt, but I imagine your will want to use a plastic scraper or plastic pick (so you don't scratch up the mating surface), and as long as there are no seals on there you want to keep, some sort of harsh chemical (What harsh chemical? No idea.) It may also be worth calling up a company that does that repair like JD Jetting (https://jdjetting.com/product/jdkh33-keihin-fcr-mx-carb-mid-body-gasket-w-slide-tower-bubble-gasket/) or Frank! MX and ask around, I'm sure someone will be nice enough to tell you whats what.

    Vapor temp sensor

Only issue with that is it is reading the temperature before it enters the engine. Also if you are losing coolant that probably won't catch it. I forgot to tighten a coolant hose once, and my TT Vapor saved my ass because it told me I was overheating, I don't know it would be able to do that if the radiator wasn't filled to the top.

    Vapor temp sensor

The m6 sensor can replace the bleed screw on the thermostat (not the radiator) and will have the same accuracy as the inline described above.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

My grundle is jealous... After my last trip from Philly to Baltimore and back a more comfortable seat is high on my to-do list.

Evo-MX, I believe they are UK based but they have cheap shipping to the US and have a really good selection of old bike graphics

Put them on last night! This winter I stripped this bike all the way down and built it back up, very excited to take it to the track! Before (When I bought it): After: Seat didn't come out as good as I wanted it to, but my butt is going to be covering it anyway :^)

    That Carb Thang...Snappy Throttle

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the FCR, but I would check for vacuum leaks, and if there are none richen it up. I had that issue with the BSR, where the bike would jerk around while trying to keep a constant speed, but when I switched to a properly jetted (or at least better jetted) CVK40 it went away.

    That Carb Thang...Snappy Throttle

Are you having issues with your response being inconsistent rather than too snappy? For example, when cruising and trying to maintain the same speed you are either being jerked forward by engine braking, or jerked backwards by the engine suddenly picking up? I had this issue when running stock jetting. I would get the JD kit if you are sticking with the stock carb, for me I had to fatten up the jetting. Now the engine reacts to my small throttle movements more linearly rather than doing nothing then suddenly hitting hard. Richening up the mixture would also help with your hanging idle, which is what I am guessing you mean when you say over-run?

    Kx 125 rear wheel help

Don't you fucking dare EVER bring a sense of humor to ThumperTalk. Some of us want to keep the stick firmly inserted into our rectal cavities.

    Very low valve clearance thoughts?

Let me tell you a story about the last time I shimmed my valves and how I had to do it quite literally 5 times... They really need to stop putting both measurements on the feeler gauges!

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

Was spending more time working on bikes than riding them so I decided to take her to work today, lunch break was a blast! Turns out the Pixel 3 takes pretty good photos!

    Stripped Brake pad screws

I assume you are talking about the allen bolts with the threaded heads? Go to harbor freight, but a torx socket set, put the caliper into a vice and hammer the torx socket in. Then grab a long ratchet and slowly break it open. Same thing just happened to me on my kx125. I recommend getting a new bolt from All Balls or etc.

What is a stock steel tank worth?

Actually that is a list of sold items, I use that filter all the time when I'm selling my stock parts!
