  1. Are these available for 19 and 21 inch rims, thanks
  2. I believe this is a topic which hasnt been explored much on here as I havn't been able to find any info. I am curious to know if there is a road legal tyre that isnt knobbly that will fit onto standard 21" and 19" rims on a cr250. I plan on commuting on the bike on road and dont thing I'll be using it much on the dirt any more. A few days ago I nearly head on with a T junction because the knobblys didnt hold up while breaking. Has anyone on here switched from knobbly to road legal flattrack type tyre on original rims? Any pros cons to doing this? Sizes, makes, options would be appreciated Cheers guys
  3. I also found this but Im a bit unsure I should spend £200 on it to have to build a circuit for the rear lights anyway. Could build this with rear lights for a lot cheaper than £200 with a bit of direction. Cheers
  4. Spoke with (Rob) the local rc car shop guy for his view on using lipo batteries to set up the circuit plus they sell wiring and connectors etc to put it together. Rob recons using 2 lipo batteries would be more usable. Led lamps is the best way forward as recommended by chopper61.. he said fitting a capacity meter (as pictured) to the bars would be the safest option. The issue now is there are not many led headlamps available for the bike that are approved for road use which dont cost a fortune so im looking at whether its as simple as just changing the bulbs round. I found a road legal hi/low beam bulb but dno whether it will fit into the headlamp fitting without modification....? Also would I need to run a fuse in the circuit to prevent bulbs blowing etc? Sorry for the dumb questions just rather know my stuff before i start building and breaking things lol
  5. So can i just buy a 12v battery with a polisport 35/35w headlight and an led tail/brake light, wire the brake light directly to the battery, and the headlight tail light to the bar switch and battery? Is that pretty much it or do I need to add anything else to the circuit? Is there anything I am missing and would any 12v battery do the job? Thanks
  6. mate haha, I know what your saying but putting it into action I dont have a clue where to start.... this is why I wanted to use a rechargable battery system without breaking into the circuit on the bike. I have seen a thread on here with a post explaining that you can cut into the wiring from the rectifier. Im not brave enough to risk cutting the wires without damaging them. Is there another way of plugging in without chopping into them? Can you explain how I make the circuit up and give me an idea how to connect it all up and connectors I will need? As for the lights, is it as simple as changing the bulbs in the head light or do I need to get a specific light fitting? Im going to need a tail light, brake lights and high/low beam headlights, not to fussy about indicators but would be better to have them. I dont want to mess anything up and cost myself a fortune replacing parts for the sake of being unsure about what I'm doing. By replacing the capaitor does the battery then charge from the bike running? As much info as poss would be appreciated Thanks
