    XT350 Losing Power?

I wanted to do it. You can read much of the color of the spark plug.

    XT350 Losing Power?

Have you checked the color and condition on the spark plug?

    XT350 Losing Power?

Okay. Yes, it's very unlikely that it is the coils with only 2k. More unlikely fuel, fuel lines incl. filters and carbs.

    XT350 Losing Power?

Hard to believe, but it looks like "everybody" have problems with the fuel/carbs. when the bike stands still for a little longer time. You can, for sure, check ohm values on source- and pick up coil, that is a quick operation.

    Dirty jet(s) in carb(s)??

    XT350 Losing Power?

That is like mine. I have a job to do with mine now. The valve clearence was ok, but not the time chain. One tooth wrong on exhaust side and two on intake side. Maybe it has jumped cause bad tensioner and/or streched chain(?) Comp. also leaks from an exhaust valve..... I have to tear down to check if bent valves. I also have partickles, from chain guides too, I think. It sound like the engine is leaking comp. to bottom pan.

    XT350 Losing Power?

Thank you again! That is very helpfull!! You have to put tensioner back in place before aligning the cam marks?

    XT350 Losing Power?

May I have misunderstood. I don't think it's logic myself.

    XT350 Losing Power?

Okay. Have read in several forums that a bad cdi or source-/pick up coil can cause lean condition. Is that right?

    XT350 Losing Power?

Ok. Can not tell for sure if the engine gets too hot or not, but when you mention it, I've probably thought about it sometimes. It's a bit difficult when you do not have temperature gauge. Is it a typical result of a bad cdi?

Filled the tank completely and took a new test trip again today, still the same problem. I think I see a pattern. Lastly, the bike cycles well at the beginning, but after 5-6 km. (when the engine has reached operating temperature?), It starts with hesitation between 5 and 6000 rpm. It's almost like very fast / small cuts in the ignition. Could it be an electrical or electronic error, even if the ohm values are within specifications ?? CDI may also be incorrect (?), But it can not be tested / measured with regular multi meters.

Seems logic. Have checked butterfly and carb. sync and it is all in specs. Will fill up petrol to max and test it later today if the weather allow me to (not snowing....)

I see. Have replaced all the tubes and lines on carbs. You don't think the coasing enricher can cause these types og behavior?
