FMF fatty came with a dent?

Yeah, that makes sense. Any suggesting on how to care for it?
  3. I just picked up a new FMF fatty and turbinecore 2 silencer for my wife's TC85.. will I need to rejet and tune the carb for it to run right with this change? Any good resources if I'm to do this myself (I'm coming from 4t and a Lectron on my KTM so I don't know what's needed. )

Perfect, thanks for the help! Didn't want to not be the first one to dent it :(

What Have You Done To Your KTM Today?

Would the Enduro Engineering rad braces have helped this issue? They come with that little rubber hook that allows them to move around and pull out to hopefully deflect this from happening.. Wondering someones actual opinions on it, though haha

I was in the same boat as you when I got my 150 this past year... I put a Lectron in it which helped me just "set it and forget it" with the carb. Being able to hop on and ride meant more to me than keeping the carb and potential of power associated with it. I also put in vf4 because based on also a lot of reading, the stock Reed's were shit and they needed some upgrades. I pulled mine and checked; they were horrible! When I replaced them it just woke the engine up in a sense that I wasn't gaining anything but reliability, and predictability with throttle and engine response. Additionally, I felt the RK Tek would help with lugging me around as I seem pretty heavy for the bike. Threw one in after hunting it down forever in Canada and that was noticeable as well. It didn't buck me like a 300 or anything by any means, but there was a minor torque increase on the bottom end that was definitely there. I also put in a red spring and ran that to get on the pipe a little more, but I haven't had a chance to really ride with that installed. Overall, these modifications have helped smooth the engine out and optimize it I feel. Nothing has made the bike revolutionised, but I truly thing they have added or complimented performance in a positive way with the 150. Would I spend the money on these items again if I were to do it over? 100 percent. I think these are a must have and from using it on the 150. Should I upgrade down the road or but anything else these are always the first modifications I look at getting.

FMF fatty came with a dent?

I recently purchased an FMF fatty factory and it came with a dent in it, is this supposed to be there? It doesn't look like a "clearance" bend to make it around the frame etc. Did I just get a lemon?

850 USD => $1117 CAD off the bat.. Plus taxes (13%) => $1,262.21.. And then any import fees etc, which is usually about $50 for every 250 roughly I think.. so roughly $250 for a total offff $1500? 😐 Yep, doomed! I tried to order a new light shroud and swing arm guards at a local shop... they were $45 each, and wont come till march. I found the same stuff for 19.99 usd on RMATV and the swing arm guards were roughy 30 and instantly shipped. Only problem is, they won't allow Canadians to buy KTM OEM and ship over border... As for the bike price... $7800? no wonder you guys can afford new bikes every 2 years! That bike here right now: 9,499.00.. That does not include freight, PDI, or taxes. So lets say $12k out the door?

Suspension worth it that much? I've got stock suspension still. I don't feel like I've rode the bike enough to throw suspension on it, but I do know currently I absolutely love it! I came from a '15 kx250f so 2T and all this stuff is new to me.. the suspension on the KX was so rigid it almost made it impossible to ride, so it's feels amazing now that I'm on this bike... Wondering what a suspension revalve for my weight would be like. 😍

I love the orange. I have a white rear fender and a white light shroud and hate it! Ended up ordering them orange again cause I think it makes the bike look bleh.

We managed to get some nicer weather in Canada, eh! It was -32c for the past few weeks and it got up to 9c yesterday. Wrenched on the bike, finally put my EE rad guards on. I've heard mixed reviews, but, is it worth getting the front guard as well or stick with the stock louvres? And yes, I still have to wash my bike.. but hasn't been possible with this weather!

Hey, who you calling fat? I'm 230, 6'3"... Bike pushes me around relatively easy! And I've got all those parts on it too.. only thing I haven't played with yet is gearing.. wondering if it will even do much more for me haha.
