    Scott's performance damper

Anyone else have information to help get a Scotts damper fitted to their 250L or Rally?

    Scott's performance damper

MauriceD, i have been researching a way to fit a scotts damper on my Rally. Scotts have stopped making the 250l bracket and post (permanent backorder). I think a DR650/universal kit with a weld-on post might be the only option. Add rox risers and fit a bar of your choice.

    CBR300R Crank Install

No benefit at all, i would have preferred to do a direct swap, vehicle registration rules are very strict in my state, it's just very expensive to get a 300 certified for our bikes because it's not a factory option, the crank swap means that unless you tear the motor down you can't tell it's a 300!

    CBR300R Crank Install

Much better acceleration, I put a 15t sprocket up front, same final final drive ratio as a cbr300r, when you allow for tyre diameter. Sits on 6000rpm at 65mph (100kph) real speed via GPS. Much better torque for off road, biggest improvement is on the highway, able to sit on 70mph (110) easy all day without sounding like it will burst.

    CBR300R Crank Install

I did the crank swap. No need to replace unless they are worn, the main bearings are matched to the slight variation in cases, the crank diameter remains the same between the models
