Kill switch wire smashed? Electronic piece to carb plugged in? Getting fuel to the carb?

Also, common ground!!! One of my favs. But kinda hard to find. It’s about the garahans, and other district 36/37 riders. Shooting some awesome footage of clear creek, Idaho , Tennessee... good stuff

Why we ride! It’s all about motorcycles not just dirt. I liked it. Touched on all aspects of the sport, what drives people to seek motorcycle adventures.

Here In Cali many times monster truck jam follows super cross. I think once they put the dirt down they might as well have both events before cleaning up the dirt.
  8. Woodsblasters is what I have. And yea good idea if you ride in branchy type trails. I got out of control and ended up in the shrubs... when I came out I had a nice piece of manzanita spear right through through the right side radiator. Coolant leaked out pretty quick. Needless to say it ended my ride.

I need help and question answered

Definitely... it can actually be something as simple as a clogged or mis routed vent hose.

I my experience is that if you have a bad cdi you won’t get any fire out of it. It sounds most likely to be the carb. Something didn’t go back Together as it should have. Try changing the plug. While it’s pretty rare to have one foul on a four stroke, bikes do appreciate a new one. I would check the float height, or accelerator pump action. Make sure your getting that squirt of fuel

How do YOU determine your rider skill level

I suck at wheelies . I seem so only be able to bust one so long as no one is asking me too.hill climbs, decent.... if I don’t make it the first I almost always do on the second go at it. Corner speed, can probably use some work but not afraid to break traction.. love logs, boulders, tractor tires, jumping, can do most on a mx track but don’t like anything to launchy, balance definitely needs work, and tracking up depends on the dirt conditions I guess. Sooooo I rate myself a c! For crummy [emoji23]! I’ll tell ya those euro riders are good. I think those pro guys seem to have a step above ours. Although we did recently win a 6days I believe

Anderson,1st. Tomac a close 2nd, followed by the Frenchman,. Ken is going to play it safe to see a few races. But once he shakes off the bugs he’s going to be a podium regular

Trail friendly mods for a yz250f

Good information. I appreciate it all. I feel like with the right mods it can be a very versatile bike. It’s half way there. I’ve got to get a decent bash plate , and Mabey a softer seat. I’ve got the pro taper pegs oversized radiators with protective cages, Boyesen water pump. Just the basics. Also considering putting in a recluse

Yes . I guess as I fatigue it doesn’t I’m going to try the flywheel thing and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice

Bob, your classic[emoji28]. You remind me of those ol school boys who wouldn’t be able to keep up anyway. I can’t just throw it away, it’s been mine off the show room floor. It’s damn near bullet proof. I haven’t had any problems with it so I’m pretty stuck on it. Unlike my Ktm. Mucho problemos! Thanks for the other advice. I will experiment with different sprocket set ups and springs in the forks. What I love about it is being able to ride super technical stuff, and then transfer out into some fast big jump type stuff. The yz suspension sucks up the big hits much better then the soft Ktm. I’ve played with all sorts of settings with the ktm and it seems just too soft for anything other then trail trash
