  1. Hi. What is the easiest way to determine if i have a broken or poorly adjusted decompression mechanism or i have a bad starter motor? I tested the battery on my XRV750, and it spins like nothing and starts.. I tested the solonoid by bypassing it, still dull as hell. I had the carbons replaced under dealer warranty (buying used bikes in dk, you can ask for a warranty if unknown shit happens, like a bad starter, bad regulator and stuff like that.) But i suspect him for not doing it.. or not checking properly.. because it started a few times, very dull, but turned and started.. and now it's back to hhherrr... huuuiherrrr... and not huihuihui wroom It starts on first kick sitting and is not hard to kick at all.. and i don't do a lot of squads.. Not dr650 w/o decomp -hard anyways So either he just filed the brushes or didnt check for bad windings. Or the decompression is bad. So without pealing off the topend or pulling the starter, how would i find out which it is? best regards Julian

I know its a topic that has been up before.. But does anyone here ride hard enduro on 120/90x19 with mousse and is it that bad on rocks etc.? Just bought the bike and it came with a 19” rear .. to be honest i havnt got the dough to get a new 18” with tyre and mousse just yet.. but id be happy to hear about some 19” mousse experience.. Im going with Mitas C-16 120/90 with a BiB 120 mousse..

So, the ring on my fork is RED, so i guess they fittet an X fork to the R frame. Any way to identify the rear suspension? So weird they went with a 19" rearwheel!

Im positive the frame 2006 450R as the stamped vin on the crown is jh2pe05a56 pe05 is 450R and pe06 is 450X the engine says pe06e, so thats a 2006-2008 450X engine. I will check the ring color on the forks :-) Thanks for all the help!

Yeah, i would be able to get plates on it, but i bought it for enduro training and races, so thats fine.. in denmark you pay a 180% tax to get a vehicle on the road, the tax drops with vehicle age though, so in my case it would be around 2000$ to get it on the street. So.. thanks :-)
