    Clutch Drag Issues On A KTM 250 XC-W 2007

Hydraulic clutch - adjusted all the way. Drags when it’s hot, stopped and in first gear

    Lectron Carb - 36, 38 or 38HV

Hi. I have a KTM 250 EXC with a Powercore 2 silencer and VForce 3 reeds. Mainly ride single track with a bit of open road riding. I like low down power a lot, but don’t want to completely rob the top end. Which Lectron would be the best for me and why? Cheers.

What GPS or accessory is this from? See pic

Are you sure that’s not for the CPU to connect to a Dealerships computer to check timings and HP etc?

38mm VS 36mm Carb + Lectron or Smart Carb

Thanks so much for helping me out but I think if I’m going to splash over $450 on a carb I’m going to get everything 100% I want. Thanks anyway !!

38mm VS 36mm Carb + Lectron or Smart Carb

Thanks so much for all the responses. I’m thinking of going for a Smart Carb 36mm. It’s for a KTM 250 XC-W, so if anyone thinks I’ll have a problem please drop a reply :). Thanks a tonne everyone!

Sorry - Aussie version. It's the XC-W I believe you call it.

38mm VS 36mm Carb + Lectron or Smart Carb

KTM 250 EXC 2007, going to a 2014+ Ktm 250 EXC though hopefully in the near future. I do very diverse riding - not MX though. With carb choice, top end should be kept in mind however not necessary. Lots of gnarly single track and open tracks / dirt roads in between the single track.

38mm VS 36mm Carb + Lectron or Smart Carb

Thanks a tonne mate. Awesome. I think I'm going to go a 36mm carb. Now I need to decide the Lectron or the Smart Carb

Yes to which part, the bottom end power or the quickness of response?

Thanks for your reply. By throttle response, do you mean the bottom end power or how quickly the throttle responds to a quick 'blip' of the throttle. Cheers.
