    Kawasaki ke 100 wont start

Dose anyone know where I can get new parts for this bike upon getting a flywheel puller, and noticing enough play in the crankshaft (amount is enough where I’m fairly certain if I got it to run it would knock so somewhere around a 1/3-1/2 inch of play which is a LOT of play imo) it seems like a rebuild would be a safe bet but I don’t want to get used parts if I don’t have to and btw it has no point system but seems to be made right after the switch over from points to cdi ignition based on body and part design I can see if I can find a make /model number

Kawasaki bayou 300 wire in voltage reg. Broken

I can get them when I get off work,it’s a clip like this that is stuck inside it if it helps, and I can’t find any tool to get inside to remove it,needlenose etc.

Kawasaki bayou 300 wire in voltage reg. Broken

One of my other “projects” I say projects in quotations because this one is rough, has one of the wires snapped from the clip that goes into the voltage regulator, right now I just have a wire losely connected to the wire and shoved into the place where the wire should go,and I do not know a permanent way to fix this as the crimp for the lead is stuck inside and broken in a way that is hard to get out of not impossible.and I don’t know what would be the best way to reattach the wire,I don’t want to solder it in place, water mud etc

I’m starting to think given my limited tools that I should take the bike to someone who can fix it right befor I mess something up more, like the threads on the crankshaft, although if I do I will post what exactly was wrong with it for someone who is having the same problem

Any advice on getting the flywheel off without a puller,as I currently don’t have one and it will be a minute befor I’m off work to go into town to buy one

Last night I used my impact to take off the bolt on the crankshaft to get the magneto off and when it came off the threads were on a scale of one to ten, they were a 11 of how bad the threads were, would re doing the threads work or would I need a new crankshaft? Because I do t have the money to do a rebuild or really the know how to do so

I know that on a 2 stroke having the spark fire right at Tdc can cause the motor to run backwards, the black mark being the timing mark on the case and the red one being the timing mark on the... magneto? Not sure what that particular part is called is that too far delayed or advanced and that is just a rough gestimate of where the timing marks are as I am currently at work edit: upon thinking could the timing marks need to be aligned for it to run, that was a blond moment lol

I can get pictures of the wires when I get home from work, and this is the first two stroke I have worked on,like I said could be something simple that I’m not seeing as it is the first time fixing one

Checked the tail pipe last night was clear.and It being flooded dosent seem to be the problem, the only thing that I really can’t check with a tool is the compression because I don’t have a compression tester,I have cleaned and regapped the plug, the only electrical thing that could be wrong is the voltage reg and what I believe to be the Cdi have wires with no place to be connected, makes me think that maby because of that I’m getting spark outside the motor but not inside

I recently came across a Kawasaki ke 100,the owner wanted to sell it because thire house had burnt and they needed some money, and of course the keys for it were in the house,so after poping the tumbler out and replacing it with one I had a key to I had the ignition sorted, and here comes the tricky part,I have fuel, cleaned out the carb and jets and I am getting fuel through the engine, spark plug is wet can smell gas in the exhaust etc. I have spark bright blue spark,I have air, and I have timing, and compression it will wear you out kicking it over, but I can’t seem to get it to run with fresh gas and even starting fluid,it shows no signs of life except I have all five things needed for it to run and I am stumped on this,I feel like it’s simple and I’m looking right at it but everything simple I have ruled out any help would be nice
