  1. I can handle most of the blues at brushy and the single track that I have done. They have some nasty hills that I haven’t tried, along with the enduro trail. I’m still working up to that. I don’t mind their green trails, they’re faster paced with a decent hill or two. Once you get to the blues you run into some pretty steep hills, ruts, roots and rocks. They have bail out trails for the more difficult stuff.
  2. Oct 12th works for me but the 13th does not. What level of trails do you guys ride?
  3. Im down to go. I have rode all the green trails, they are pretty mild. About half the blue on the right side of the mountain, they aren’t bad and also have Done some of the single track which can be tricky. And whatever trail has roller coaster hill on it. It’s not terrible. Last time I was there was 3 weeks ago and it was pretty rutted out. But very rideable
  4. I’m wanting to get the engine case back to new condition. Not stained and a few very small rust spots. I am not wanting to take the engine apart or remove it from the bike. Can I spray aluminum wheel cleaner in it then spray it off? Or wd40 and scotch Brite? Thanks

  6. How do you feel about yamalube? Thinking of trying that. What about amsoil interceptor?
  7. I’ll keep that in mind, but going off your response, how has running the oil at 40:1 been? I am currently at 32:1, and somewhat fouling plugs. About every 10 hours. I have been thinking of bumping to 40:1. Just worried about running that lean. Incase it matter, I use klotz supertechniplate. Primarily ride single track/trails.
  8. Guys, my dad is in the market for a bike and I found a ktm 200 exc and all seems to be good to me, just wanted yalls opinion on how it is running. I’m gonna try posting a couple videos. Thanks guys.
  9. Ok, thanks. But again, still new to two strokes. What exactly is detonation? What does it sound like? How can if it is doing that or not? thanks
  10. I know this has been beat to death, but I still don’t know. I bought a yz250 about 2 months ago and haven’t had any problems. I have been running 93 non ethonal gas in it. I have only put one tank through it, work has prevented riding much but will have the time now. Should I switch to a 100 octane gas? My local station has Sunoco race gas and I’m not sure which to buy? Leaded or unleaded? What octane? The bike is modified, but since I bought it used I’m not sure what has been done to the engine other than being rebuilt. Thanks in advance.
  11. Thanks, most of what I do is slower more technical stuff with the occasional fire road between trails. I moved the needle down, so it now sits in the top ring of the needle. I’m gonna give it a few hours and pull the plug again and see.

  13. Yeah, I get that. Defiantly not racing for a living, but I run in some harescables sometimes. Is the warm up process on a 2 stroke the same as a 4? Bike starts first kick without choke, I usually let it sit for 30 seconds then ride slow to warm it up
