  1. i will check the valve clearance. the problem is that i will be traveling for the next 2 weeks, it will be a while before i can get to it. Thanks for the advice!
  2. I have not pulled the head, that is my next step. When i first heard the clack clack i was running mid throttle, it progressively got worse, so i shut er down, restarted three times for a few seconds just because Im a dumb A.., to hear if was getting worse. It finally would not start. when i found that it was the tensioner i hoped that was all. I guess i did some damage huh? So is it worth my time to pull the head and just take that in to the dealer? thanks for your help

  4. ok so i am the idiot that did not know this site existed, i have been riding with With a Stock ACCT and now i am paying for my ignorance. looking for any suggestions. I replaced a failed ACCT, set the timing, the bike turns over just fine, is getting spark and fuel, but acts like it is not, will not fire at all. what is my next step?
