Bike still feels and runs like new.

  2. I got in a rare January ride, little late on the post.
  3. Keeping my engine happy 600 miles with 15/50w ester based full syn. The gearbox is hard on the oil.
  4. I can relate man, though mine wasn't as extreme! The moose handguard saved my hand too I have no doubt! Heal up quick, and sorry about the bike! http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=751922&highlight=grandma
  5. Dang Roundeye, I'll take what your having-lol, thats a lot of nice work and detail!
  6. Twinjet, strap on the guns and ride on out here, shooting and riding- good times! I would ride out there, but would probably be tased, handcuffed or worse at the cali border with SKS's and AK across my shoulders.
  7. DR-Z250, the yel/blu combo will look hot. Way to lay down the rubber Debi, looking good. szymon, choice mods on your bike!
  8. You could call Rocky Mountain and see if the one they sell extra is a clip style or maybe get ahold of DID directly. Yea the riveting tools aren't cheap, I always use the clip style too. If you find out post it, want to try that chain next time I replace, running the Primary Drive gold xring and it is wide, wears the rear guide block sides pretty bad.
  9. D.I.D 520 VT2 narrow x-ring chain- 104.99 at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.
  10. You did good! Silkolene, Maxima, Motul all have the ester base. Like the others say 15/50 is key.
  11. I not sure about that perigren, I have seen a lot of nice bikes on here, but I appreciate it!
  12. Another thing to watch is the overflow tank, sometimes a bad head gasket will push coolant and fill the overflow tank and not draw it back in when the engine cools. I am not sure it will do that if you have a hole in the radiator. First thing I would do is is inspect for any damage, Rad, waterpump cover depending which side it went down on and fix that, then move on to see if it is a head gasket issue.
  13. I like all three, to choose one the Blk/Yel is my favorite. Your bike has to be one of the best modded offroad DR-Z's on the planet.
