  1. I just bought a 12. Any thoughts on which to do first, a slip-on or a remap? Also, any suggestions on where to get a remap done? Is there a tuner I can buy to make adjustments myself or do I have to send the ECM to someone to get it remapped? Sorry for the thread hijack.
  2. I had the same thing happen to me. Resulted in my one and only ambulance ride and ended my desire for racing/riding. This was 3 years ago. I have since quit riding completely after several attempts to get back into it. I never did figure out exactly what the problem was with the bike. I thought it was bad fuel. I did have a friend check the valves for me before I sold it, so I never noticed if the fuel line was kinked or not. Now I wonder if that could have been it. The symptoms you describe are exactly what I felt. My result was the same too. Worst crash ever for me. I have not trusted a bike since. Good luck with the bike. I hope you have it figured out.
  3. I have an A-kit full suspension set up that will fit 2003 and 2004 YZ's. Any idea what it might be worth? It includes complete triple clamps, forks, shock and some optional springs. Thanks.

  5. What is the proper mounting technique? I follow the manual procedure and always use a torque wrench.
  6. What weight Rotella do you run? I know this is an annoying question. I just bought a left over 08 as well and will be breaking it in soon. Of course after reading this I will check all fluid levels first:smirk:
  7. Wrong!!! This was solely a harley board decision not based on performance or potential of the project.
  8. The rendering is not even close to accurate, but the project has been cancelled so it doesn't even matter.
  9. Jokes are always cool. We make plenty ourselves. I just don't like it when people make claims that are not true, like the dude saying he has pictures. It is fun to read the speculation though.
  10. Is your name Stu by chance? You have never seen pictures of the bike. I can guarantee that. What shop do you work at?
