1998 RMX 250 info needed asap

Hi, I am having much the same issue, fouling of plug for no apparent reason, in between fouling bike runs well, then stops and will not restart until new plug is fitted. I have run with BR9ES and BR9EIX plugs, no different. The bike has a PWK carb and stock pipe (mesh removed) Been advised to try BR8EG plug but not tried jet. Currently stripped bike and checked the following: 24 pin connector under headlight (pink coloured), removed and soldered wires together - spark does appear stronger (not sure if this will make a differance but is easy fix so worth trying!) Checked compression - good at 210psi. Set up of carb is as follows - 16mm float height, 170 main, 55 pilot and DDJ needle on middle clip. Am awaiting spares jets as follows - 172 main, 42 pilot and DEL needle. These are recommended specs by other Australian owners. I shall let you know how I get on with changes.

    LC4 400 Riders

Looking to purchase a LC4 400 in the GS guise (more enduro orientated) does anyone have any experience of this bike, how it handles etc? Worried about the weight and mention elsewhere about the LC4 400 being underpowered, please help!! Thanks in advance..
  3. My local bike shop has a 1998 KTM 400 GS? I have searched for this model and come up with the 400EGS but this appears to be a Duke model. The bike I'm lookin at looks much more like a 400EXC. Has anyone got experience of the 400EGS in enduro form, is the bike ok for enduro and any idea of the weight? Will spares be a problem? Many thanks. (I've also posted this in the other KTM section)
