    Newer Style IMS Tank

Wow, I was just looking for this. I just installed my 3.4 IMS tank today and found the exact same thing. I was wondering if rooster guards, or some other full coverage radiator guard would work. The works connection braces are OK but I would like to upgrade to something beefier.

Green sticker on Street Legal Trail Fine?

Mojave rode $75.00. Twenty five for the fine and fifty for processing it through the mail.

    Bean Canyon

No, I didn't know it was illegal. No signs posted and seemed to be the same as the Mojove riding area at first. We staged on the Antelope Valley side of the Mountains just on the other side of the windmills. I have seen signs posted up near the windmills. Seemed to be a lot of fresh bike tracks. I'll have to ask him. Maybe he knos a differen stageing area? Thanks for the heads up.

    Bean Canyon

Wow, My Son and a friend and I just rode Bean Canyon. My friend has been riding there for over 20 years. I heard of this place for years but have never been there. At first the trail is really wooped out until you start gaining altitue. Some pretty steep hill climbs that are sandy and rocked out (about 4 hill climbs) then you get to some goat trails with steep drop offs. Good thing we had fresh tires. Traction is a must along with goggles for the brush. Once into the pines the trail got real tight with brush and trees hammering our bark busters. On the way down it was steeper than going up, 2nd gear with some careful front brake, If you used 1st gear you would slide out. Man that was a cool ride, havn't done that in years, sort of like Kennedy Meadows on steroids. Didn't see anyone during our ride but then again it was Monday. Nice place but would not recommend for anyone without experience, and bring water.
  9. Anyone know where to get a replacement o-ring for the pilot screw set? I have a zip tye installed and discovered the o-ring missing. I looked in the hardware store and bought the smallest o-ring they had but it was a bit to large. Dealer I know, but think they would sell me the pilot screw set. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also discovered the AP diaphragm was deteriorated, any aftermarket ones you would suggest? Thanks in advance.

    Flywheel weight

I just bought an 06 CR85 for my son, we do alot of trail riding, where would I go to get one?
  11. Split line you mean the center of the float?
  12. I posted this onto the jetting forum but maybe better listed here. I have been working on the carb and tried adjusting the float to possibly cure hard starting. The procedures are not very clear so I had a couple of friends look at the procedures and they came up with the same way I looked at it. I set the float to the 8mm called for and reinstalled. As soon as the gas got to the carb it overflowed. So I removed it and readjusted it to 11mm (the way it was originally). So am I not setting it correctly (seems like it)? The procedures have you tilting it from upside down to right side up and measuring as soon as the float arm mates to the needle. I have a 42 Pilot installed right now should I go up to a 45, or try adjusting the float another way. Thanks for your suggestions.
