My YZF 450 has a HMF Ballance full race pipe. K&N filter with Pro design adapter. The motor is stock. I'm riding @ 4,500 feet in SD. This weekend I installed as suggested a james Dean jet and needle kit. I went with the Red needle with the clip in the 5TH position from top. A 165 main and a 45 pilot. It seems to be way rich from 1/4 throttle to 7/8 then seems to be ok at wot. Do you think I can clear it up by just a clip adjustment on the needle or do I have to go to a leaner pilot jet? Thanks for any help.
