    KXF 250 Problems poss fuel??

    It definatly sounds like the timing is off... I had the same thing done and the exhaust timing was one tooth off and it gunked the whole works... take your valve cover off and set the motor to tdc. check the guide dots on your cam to see if they match up it should look like both dots are even with the top of the cylinder case. check that. let me know what happens...

    Does Anyone Us Castrol Oil

    I run Valvoline 20-50 full synthetic with 300ml of lucas oil stabilizer.. I change it every 3 hours... Ive got over 200 hours on my bottom end with no problems ever.

    Carb Problems

    I have a big problem with my carb on my 04 KXF250. I have very little bottom end power.. I lose power going through turns and it pops and bogs only while in gear between 1/4 and half throttle... I have a full yoshi exhaust system and oversized titanium valves. any suggestions????

  5. My bike has a yoshi complete titanium exhaust system... It is set at 5th needle clip, 155 main and 2 3/4 fuel, bottom end is very strong and run great.. idles fine... when i get to high rpm it dies out... never stalls but loses power then comes back over and over.... never reaches max rev.... any suggestions??? Im in like 20ft alt temp is between 50-65... doesnt have the problem as bad when warmer... i run race fuel.... and filter is clean....

    Manual Wrong on oil amount

    go by the amount on the crank case... what i always do is fill to the bottom line. that is where is should be when cold. when it is warm it will expand to the top line of the sight glass. and to drain the oil i use a surenge with a piece of 1/4 inch plastic hose to remove the excess oil... and converting oil ounces to leters... there are 950ml in one quart. look on the auctual oil can and there should be both liters and ounces... good luck hope i was some help.

    Best pipe for kx250f 2006.......??????

    I have a yoshimira full titanium system on my 04 and i found it has added a ton all around but a little more in the mid than the pro circuit.. just my opinion.... I ride a very technical track where im mostly in 3rd gear so i really notice the power there....just my opinion.... Lawrence

    Motor problem..

    I will be riding at mid range rpms after a high rev corner and my bike will die... i have change the fuel, cleaned the carb.. other than the occasional die the bike is very fast. It starts immediatly with one kick... I have no idea this is my first four stroke and i cant think of what else it may be... only about 20 hours on a new motor... anny suggestions?

    Brake control when landing from jumps.

    try downshifting a gear or two and let the motor help slow you down if there is enough time. This helps keep your rpms up and will bennifit you comming in and out of the turn also. Downshifting along with braking and sitting up more near your gas cap will help you keep that back tire from comming around on you and let you find your rut... 04 KXF250
