  1. E-man, you are correct...i must have had a brain fart on the inverted tubes. i would rather just swap a whole front end to include trees and stem, but cannot find a mx bike w/ correct stem size as xs650. so i thought maybe just the tubes and everything down. if i could find a similiar newer inverted frontend w/ the same stem, then i could get everything i wanted. i could always have the stem changed out, but i would have to send it out for that and i would like to stay on budget. as far as weight, i only expect bike to way 300-350lbs. me=175lb. i have found that the suzuki dr 200 has 35mm tubes from 1996-2003. however they are not inverted. here's a pic link http://www.bikez.com/bike/pictureonly?id=21412 here's a pic of yammyxs650 stem and front end stock http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4566656310&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT
  2. the yammy xs650 is not a mx bike. i'm actually building an old bobber, but like the inverted front end. i was just looking for help establishing what mx bikes might have 35mm tubes, disc brake and 21" rim. this is the style i'm going for, but w/ mx front end. someone has to know if any bikes run 35mm tubes???
  3. Thanks for taking the time to check a new guys post. I have a tech question. Does anyone know what mx bike would have 35mm inverted tubes and a disc bake up front w/ a 21" front rim. I could do w/o the 21", if needed. I am looking to put these on a yamaha xs650 w/ stock triple trees. thanks again.
