    I bought the bike off a kid he told me it's an 02 when I looked at it I realized it had no cased reed cage and I checked the vin it's a 2000 I wish it was an 03 up chassis but it's not I'm glad it's an 00 motor I scored it for 150$

    I happy to find out I scored a 2000 Cr250 the motor scatterd I need a jug and doing a complete bottom end rebuild any advise the kid told me its an 02 here even better its a 2000 porting polishing? 265 kit stroker ?

    I have a 02 cr250 but it has no case reed cage the jug is the 01 style I'm rebuilding the bike and wanted to kno if any one has input on engine numbers so I kno what I have it's 2002 on frame but no case reeds

    Kx250f Overheating prob

    06 kx250f keeps using antifreeze noticed when starting the bike idles smooth until the choke is off then it spits and sputters until it gets hot im thinking i have a blown or torn head gasket or warped head it has a slight back fire to it think im on the right track don't mind the grammar lol

    MMI grad just moved back to good old pennsylvania. looking for places to ride pit bikes tracks ect. also looking for races around my state.     i got an 03 xr50 and have some ?s 1 the clutch feels like its slipping a little is there any adjustments to it 2 will new crf plastic bolt on 3 any thing i can do with some tools to get some power with out spending money ex/ cutting grinding ect 4 the key dont work on the xr i do have a fast 50s ign. does any 1 got any tips thanks aaron

    having horrible time adjusting the valves in an 02 yz250f i had 140mm shimms in it i put 145mm in it and bolted down the intake cam and the cam is tight should it turn smoothly or should i run start the engine

    yes i was wondering if there is a seperate oil tank/block off kit for the 01 yz250f ive been having trouble with my bike checking oil after going threw 1 frame and 2 engines i need to find somthing to make it easer on my pockets

    Hey, I have another question? Last winter my bike would not start so i messed with it and found out that my intake cam came loose. I got it all fixed up and back together but the cam was being pinched,so i took it back off and got it done again. Now i have it back together and the cam is still being pinched but it will move just not as easy as the exhaust cam. Could this be the reason it wont idle at low rpm? And why it still back fires? It does run good at high rpm But will stall out at low rpm and wont idle. Yes it is in time. The valves are shimmed properly. Should i buy new hot cams with new timing chain and get the cam seat shaved just a little? Or just fix the head and run it.

    Yes, I have a new timing chain. The problem was that I Put the intake cam on first and I was adjusting it with the exhaust cam so the slack in the chain was falling on the exhaust side. So, when I put the tensioner on the timing mark would move. So I'm going to try to take a breaker bar zip tie it to the foot peg so the timing mark hold and then use the intake cam to adjust the timing thanks guys later.

    OK my timing is off and my valve clearance is great getting it it time wow does it have to be perfect i line the cams up dots with the head and the Tdc dead center mark is perfect then i put the tensioner on and it looks like its 1 tooth when i re aline the tdc mark because it moves off Ive try-ed it every way i could cant he TDC mark be Little to the right or left when the cams are perfect because there are 3 marks it looks like this: H I can some 1 just help me out I'm about ready just to get rid of it man
