  1. Has been a thread recently. http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/1187540-this-is-what-you-need-to-stop-pre-2015-transmission-failure/
  2. You can buy gasket paper in various thicknesses, if you want to make them yourself, it is not hard. Dont go too thin though, or you could end up with an air leak.
  3. Has anyone played with power valve adjustment on these ?, not touched mine, but was wondering if it made a difference.
  4. Thanks, just ordered the kit, now to find some graphics.
  5. Does anyone know if the std 2015 graphics will fit these rtech kits ?
  6. I had the same problem with the old Q. Got sick of oil all over the back of the bike as well, and mine had better throttle response with the standard silencer. So it went back on, with a fatty front pipe.
  7. Always interested to hear anything about the big bores on these engines, regardless of who makes them. Would also like to hear from anyone who has been adjusting the power valve on the esr 325, or knows anything about it.
  8. They are megga dear anyway. Over a grand for a carb!, really takes the p**s.
  9. Can you define Tuck / push, is that like oversteer / understeer ?, alway confuses me when i read that.
  10. Loosen the set screws, there is a plate that comes with the flywheel that you bolt on to the front, it has a square hole to fit a rachet, then unscrew it. You could probably make something up if you dont have the plate.
  11. I had to use some heat on mine, then it just levered out with a small screwdriver.
  12. Thanks for taking the time to write that out. I am using an 08 450 shock body with an 05 250 shaft, i have also got a RSV fitted and i have softened the compression and stiffened the rebound, running 145psi of gas. Not unhappy with it, but always interested in what others are up to. I will have to see how different your valving is to mine when i find my notes. It is definately better than it was though, also fitted the swingarm from an 09 250f.
  13. Would be interesting to know you shock stack once you get it dialed, you are using the 16mm shaft in the later shock i believe ?, if so, it would be the same as mine.
  14. Might be some useful info in this thread. http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/1106312-yz325-squish/
  15. That is what i was looking for too. Did you find it took too much of the hit out as well ?
