  1. @stevethe or @THE KRAN Trying to get my tank on right now but struggling with the rear fender.... Did you guys use your stock WR fender? Were any mods needed? The lower "left" (if sitting on the bike) indentation where the battery bracket used to connect the rear fender is hitting my tank.
  2. I'd be in depending on price point...
  3. Thanks @THE KRAN that’s what I’m leaning towards, it won’t look as clean, but should be much simpler haha.

2016 YZ450f Acerbis 2.9 gal tank on a FX or WR

@stevethe is your fabricator willing to make another bracket? I know it’s very labor intensive but am having trouble finding someone with the tooling and skills to make something this clean.... where are you located?
  5. @THE KRAN I know it’s a lot to ask but was wondering if you could take a pic of how you mounte your Anti Gravity battery? I’ve been talking to local fab shops for a battery tray/bracket like @stevethe but am not being very successful. Have the battery and the tank now, just working on the install

@stevethe do you have the dimensions of the bracket / battery tray you had fabricated? I just got the same battery in the mail, and want to have a fab shop make me something similar, but would rather not have to load up my bike and take it to them. Thanks!

    Radiator braces/guards 2016 - 18 WR250/450F

I have the enduro engineering rad braces / guards and love them. no modifications required other than adding some spacers to your shroud bolts (which are included)
  8. Any update CXR100? Which tank did you end up choosing to keep and mount?
  9. Yup, looks like less room is available with that IMS compared to some of the photos I've seen with the acerbis... even on the acerbis it looks like a tight squeeze! Thanks for trying them both! Keep us updated... and remember the more pics the better!

    Lithium-ion battery.

Size is my biggest concern. I know this will fit with the acerbis 2.9 tank

    Lithium-ion battery.

    I'm looking at the Anti Gravity options out for my 2017 WR450f: AG-401: 12.8V, 120CA, 6AH, 14oz (4.25"L x 3.75"H x 1.25"D) AG-SC-1: 12.8V, 180CA, 5AH, 12oz (4.25"L x 3.75"H x 1.25"D) Is there any reason to go with one over the other? They're about the same price... Is 120CA enough for this bike? For comparison the stock battery (by Yuasa) YT27S: 12V, 130CA, 6AH, 4lb 8oz (4.5"L x 4.1"H x 2.8"D)
  12. Kran, are you running the AG-401? Any issues with starting (especially when cold). Do you think the AG-801 would fit or is that overkill?
  13. Wow, thats incredible range out of the stock tank!

Fuel Filter & Fuel System Tips 2016+ WR450F

KRAN, Appreciate the detailed response. I just purchased a Mr. Funnel and will start using it regularly. Thanks for the insight and google link for replacing the filter. Is there a tutorial on this site (or others) on how to do this (preferably with pictures)? Is there a specific brand people recommend for a replacement (or is cleaning the OEM the best option). Is cleaning or replacing the filter something you'd recommend when I replace my tank? Bike has ~950 miles on it and doesn't have any symptoms of fueling issues. Regarding "professional grade treatment" are you referring to the Pri-G product linked below? I wasn't aware Stabil wasn't that good. https://www.amazon.com/PRI-Fuel-Stabilizer-Gasoline-32oz/dp/B007ECE3IM/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1516217476&sr=1-2&keywords=pri-g Also, is there any benefit to using a "fuel system cleaner" similar to the one redline produces: https://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-Complete-System-Cleaner/dp/B000CPI5Z0/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1516217746&sr=1-1&keywords=redline+fuel Thanks for the help.
  15. Thanks for the update with the pictures Kran. Those are better than most of the pics I've seen around here. Do you have any other detailed / close-up shots of your wiring, battery, and battery tray under your seat? If not could you take a picture next time you have it apart?
