  1. Thank You. I finally got the bike put back together. I was trying to wind the spring a little extra I guess. Every time that I tried to put the end of the spring into the hole it would release and I would have to start over.
  2. I changed the oil in my son's 2000 TTR-90 this morning and when I removed the side cover to check the screen the kick start spring unwound. I cannot for the life of me get that spring back into the correct position. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this done? Thanks in advance for any help.
  3. Thanks for all the info. I definately don't want his riding experience to be negatively influenced by a crash. So far he has only had a few bumps and bruises.
  4. Thanks. I will continue to closely monitor his riding time.
  5. Is there a governor or throttle stop available for a TTR-90? I recently purchased one for my 9 year old son (his first bike). He hasn't figured out that the throttle has more than two positions, off and full open. He has lost control a couple of times and clipped some trees. Thanks in advance for any feed back, Jim
