How far apart should these holes be from the middle and from each other? Also, should OEM jets be purchased or official Keihin jets be purchased? Is there a difference besides the price?

    Jumping Jack Trailer

We had a Coleman tent trailer for 10 years and we never had leaking problems. My parents eventually went to a full trailer when my height outgrew the table bed. I loved that thing growing up.
  3. Street riding: Snowboard pants over dress pants Cortech jacket Scorpion motocross helmet Fox motocross boots Dirt riding: Same except for army pants and knee guards under snowboard pants. In both cases (street and dirt), I prefer the snowboard pants over the boots to keep wind and dirt out.

    Silverado/Saddleback

Just received email today. I don't know if this includes Maple Springs Road though. All gates are open now that the rains are over. *************************************************** Debra Clarke - Wilderness / Trails Manager District Volunteer Coordinator Cleveland NF, Trabuco Ranger District 1147 East Sixth Street Corona, CA 92879 (951) 736-1811 x 3227 (951) 736-3002 fax email: drclarke@fs.fed.us ***************************************************
  6. I went today and the gate at Skyline was closed so I rode my mountain bike instead. I stopped and spoke to a volunteer ranger riding an '08 Honda XR650L. He said all of the trails were closed to motorcycles for a couple more days because of the recent rains. I found some really cool singletrack trails but unfortunately motorcycles are not allowed on them. One of them starts near Sierra Peak and ends up near Serfas Club Drive. a few XR L tire questions...

That's the size and exact tire I use. I had a 120/80-18 on there but it sure didn't seem to last very long. I ride almost every day to work (24 miles round trip plus desert riding in winter) and this bigger tire size has lasted a long time. I put it on in October 2007 and it still has a lot of life in it. I've been very happy with it. I am including some pictures just taken today so you can see the fit. I think even a 150 may even fit.
  8. Thanks! I'll be staying on the roads.
  9. Anyone interested in dual sport ride tomorrow in local Santa Ana mtns? I wanted to start at Corona (Skyline Drive) and go along Main Divide Rd to Ortega Highway. I live in Costa Mesa but will ride to Corona to start. If no one interested, I will not go. I don't want to ride alone. Shoot me a PM if interested. This is a ride that I have never done so would prefer someone who has been there before but I am willing to explore anyway if you havent. I don't have GPS but plenty of maps and compass. Marc

I hate Riding Alone.... Lets ride together

I live in Costa Mesa too and am looking for a ride tomorrow, Sunday. I have a Honda Pilot with trailer hitch rack (one bike only). I was interested in checking out the Main Divide Road/Skyline Rd tomorrow if you're interested. Marc
