    Hi Bill, me again...I am desperately trying to find MX fenders . I tried Maier, they are not prepared to ship to South Africa, Have tried numerous US retailers, they simply don't reply to my e-mails. Being such a big and productive country is the US, surely there must be a dealer prepared to sell me, and ship one of these fenders? Could you perhaps give me a few names of dealers that I could try? Hi Coeshow, please help me, everyone is giving me conflicting advise...I bought a 132 main jet and the needle recommended, but now I'm told I should use the stock needle and a 120 main jet and a 45 pilot jet....???At sea-level.What will work best for me. Have removed airbox snorkel, put in a Uni-Filter, removed exhaust Baffle. The "recommended" needle is on the 3rd position, does the pilot have to be changed, was told not to by local tuner...!
  7. SO why is it recommended? It also doesen't make mention of Pilot Jets...Seems like everything is conflicting on this site! SO what jet must be installed? what Needle? what clip position? What Pilot jet, at sea level? How many turns out pilot screw? etc. Damn, what a waste of money, needle a waste, jet a waste cos it's all wrong...What are the actual sizes for " the power up kit" then, if the ones specified are not correct??

    Honda Dealer Power-up Kit

    I have put the power up kit in,including a 132 main jet...this is up from a 102 main. Seems very large jump?? Put the clip in the middle as recommended by this forum.If I whack the throttle open quickly,it dies completely? It pops on the downshift as well as deceleration...HMMMM??? this is at sea level...Made no changes to the Pilot jet.Should I run a smaller main jet? Is it imperative to go larger on the pilot jet? "...it's not how fast you go, but how well you go fast"

    I have put the power up kit in,including a 132 main jet...this is up from a 102 main. Seems very large jump??   11. hey sticky, I recently bought "The Power Up Kit",My stock jet at sea level, is a 102, and the power up jet comes with a 132 main jet??!! this is a huge jump, I have taken out the spark arrestor and the snorkel off the airbox...the Neddle is on the centre clip.I never took note of the blipping/whacking the throttle open with the stock items in. When I blip now the bike dies, or when i whack the throttle open in any gear the bike also stalls??The idling is also non existent now. The tutorial that i got, makes no mention of changing idle speed etc. When I roll on the gas it is better than it was with the stock jets. Please help Clinton

    Standard Carb settings

    Hi all, I have just two days ago, bought what I think to be a '82 XR200?It is a Mono-shock, rear, single carb model. In very good shape. The previous owner replaced main bearings head and cam cover gaskets. Ultrasonically cleaned carb. It is running fine, except sometimes idling goes up a bit? I am going to start looking for leaks this weekend. I would like to know how many turns the idling screw should be turned out, how many turns out the mixture screw should be turned out, standard setting at sea level? What notch on the needle should the clip be? What are the jet sizes? It has a gutted stock exhaust, and a new foam filter, I'm not sure what type of filter it should have? Also what are the standard Sprocket sizes? The bike runs fine,the first gear is too short to wheelie, i get it up nicely in second. But what feels like 60kilometres per hour in 6th at very hi revs...it currently has a 13 in front, not sure what the rear is.But I'd guess it to be a little bit too big. It has no rev counter or speedo cable.I own an R1 superbike as well, so have a little knowledge about speeds !!Any advise would help. I just want to get it to standard settings before making changes.
