  2. Connecticut

Hey Ed is there any talk of a race series for the winter?
  3. well from what i was told if it does infact open (which apparently is not likely) it will not be through NEMX.

pingree podcast mentioned hansen pro circuit 450 with the option of using him as a back up 250 rider in case of an injury.
  5. Supercross

just finished listening to matthes podcast with Pingree, he said Hansen is riding for pro circuit on a 450 for the sx season with the possibility of being used as a replacement 250 rider if anyone gets hurt.

wow do you really think im just out to prove you wrong all i was doing was putting up a bit of info i found. And again you never know what the future holds in an economy like this. But i guess we will see soon enough. for what its worth i have always trusted motocross related info on Racerx way more than Cycle news.

Of all the silly surprises, this is one of the biggest: Josh Hansen, winner of the last two X Games Moto X gold medals, will race a Monster Energy-backed Pro Circuit Kawasaki for the entire 2010 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series. Hansen, who was formerly a KTM factory rider, as well as a 125 Supercross winner for Yamaha of Troy, among other teams, will race the U.S. Open this weekend on the KXF450. Hanny has struggled with injuries over the past few seasons, but his winning ride in July at the X Games was apparently enough to pull together a unique deal, as Mitch Payton has rarely fielded 450 class riders. We will have more details on the deal as they become available.

Canard just stated in an mxa interview that he has signed a letter of intent to stay with Geico Honda for 1 more year. so that leaves the Suzuki seat open for the 250's.
  10. i would agree with that statement. Riding a dirtbike around a track doesnt take much more than basic skills ... BUT Riding a dirtbike at race speed and properly navigating the various obstacles is a whole different story. To me its like driving most of us got the hang of driving a car pretty quick but racing an f1 car would be another story.

He has confirmed on his website that it was him.

i Thought i read in Racerhead a few weeks back that MDK was not racing this year? quoted from Racer X 9/11/09 " Racerhead" The end is near (at least for now) for MDK. According to sources close to the team, owner Mark Kvamme gathered the team earlier this week to tell them the doors will be shut this coming Tuesday, which means every mechanic and technician and rider is now looking for a new job. Kvamme did say that when the economy gets better he will be back, but the stock market has been exceptionally tough on his company
