  1. We have great surprises in 2018 that we will be announcing soon. For the money, you can get better action and better pay-offs.
  2. October 21, 2017 We are delighted to inform all racers that for the PURE UTV “250” – OFF-ROAD DESERT RACE - #7 – OCTOBER 28, 2017 our final event of our season, we are going to do something different at the end of the race: 1. We will be awarding the PURE “200” Awards from last September, and… 2. Because this is the final event of the season, we will also be awarding the PURE “250” awards, on the same day, based on the unofficial Overall and Class results. 3. We will not be paying from the Pro Purse, but we will certainly recognize those that (unofficially) ended up well in the Overall and Class results. 4. Pro payback will be issued ten days from the event OR SOONER or until all trackers have been checked. At such time we will also issue a check for $1000.00 from YAMAHA! 5. Lastly, we will have some libations for the racers and crews after the event. We are also delighted to announce that these are the racers who will be receiving PURE 200 awards on Saturday, October 28, after the pure 250. Awards are expected to be at 4 pm: Overall: Josh Wakeland, Christian Weber, Bradley Scanlon, Jesse Gage and Mike Pascarella. In the Pro 1000 Class: Josh Wakeland, Jesse Gage, and Aaron Clark. In the Pro Turbo Class: Christian Weber, Bradley Howe, and Madeline Wedeking. In the Spts. 1000 Class: Bradley Scanlon, Mike Pascarella. Congratulations to all. If for some reason those above cannot make the event, please make sure that someone can pick up your award. Thanks. Once again, we invite everyone to be part of this great event and go after the YAMAHA $1000 AWARDED TO THE OVERALL FINISHER. We also invite everyone to watch the race and take part in the YAMAHA NEW MODEL DEMO taking place concurrently with the PURE “250” but on a totally separate 4-mile course. Come and drive from 9 am to 4 pm. See you soon. Lois and Lou Peralta
  3. Please see below & attached: ALTA VISTA EVENTS/BAJA PROMOTIONS – P.O. Box 2141, California City, CA 93504 – 661-524-1550 – info@averacing.com - www.averacing.com – YAMAHA MOTORSPORTS TO PRESENT FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP RACE OF THE SEASON Presents… For immediate press release… California City, CA – September 28, 2017 - Lou Peralta, President and CEO of AVE/BP RACING announced today that Yamaha has stepped up to “Present” and sponsor the final event of the PURE UTV OFF-ROAD DESERT SERIES; The PURE “250” – October 28, 2017. In doing so, Yamaha through AVE/BP have posted a $1,000 purse for the Overall winner of the 250-mile, six-lap race. This money will go directly to the Overall finisher and is in addition to the Pro Purse that is accumulated from Pro entries for the event. Discussions were conducted with Yamaha representatives, Tom Nemec, Regional Marketing Manager, West Region and Ken Durr, District Manager West Region. Both had the opportunity to visit the site, which is Alta Vista Ranch, 138th & Proctor and also take a look at the race courses that will be set up for the weekend. In conjunction with the final event of the PURE UTV Series, Yamaha is also conducting a new model SXS Yamaha Consumer Demo, featuring the new YXZ 1000 Models. Lou Peralta and staff have designed a neat off-road course to allow prospective buyers a chance to drive the new models over a four-mile lap. This course has been laid out totally separate from the race course of the PURE 250 and is on the West Side of the AVE Ranch. Everyone is invited to participate, whether as part of the team racing or just OHV riders and drivers that visits the always popular Cal-City OHV desert area. The October 28 race promises to be a “slam-bam-thank-you-mam” affair as a number of Class points championships and the Overall points will be decided at this “double points” race. In some cases, only a few points separate first from third in Class and Overall. As an example there is a three-way battle for Overall Points Championship between current leader Bradley Howe (Can-Am), and Justin Spencer (Polaris) and both Joshua Wakeland (Yamaha) and Jesse Gage (Yamaha). Likewise in the Navigator standings, the points mêlée is fierce between Nicholas Weaklem (Yamaha), Dylan Gage (Yamaha) and Aaron Wedeking (Polaris). The October 28 PURE 250 is scheduled to start at 10:00 am with one vehicle leaving the line in 30-seconds intervals. Racers have six hours to complete all six laps. Once the first vehicle completes the required laps, he/she will get the checkered flag and every vehicle thereafter will also get the checkered flag no matter how many laps may have been completed. PRE-RUNNING REMAINS THE SAME AS ALWAYS: The way it works for pre-running is that a GPS of the course file will be available one week before the race. The normal schedule is to allow those who have entered the event to receive the full GPS file, which then can be uploaded and used to pre-run the race course. There is limited pre-running with only the weekend before the event and also the Friday before Saturday’s race start at 10 a.m. As always, radio relays, paramedic teams and official monitors will be stationed throughout the course during the entire event. THE YAMAHA SXS CONSUMER DEMO - During the Yamaha Driving Tour, each participant will have the opportunity to drive the brand new Yamaha YXZ models around the almost 4-mile course. Yamaha provides a lead official to take drivers around a really neat course, full of whoops, sand rails, a short wash, a few rocks and plenty of G-outs to keep it challenging and fun. Yamaha also provides a trail master who will bring up the rear. The weekend of Saturday, October 28 promises to be a fun-filled weekend with both the all-out PURE UTV 250 mile race and the Yamaha YXZ 1000 Consumer Demo. Bring the entire family. Everyone is welcomed. For additional information, contact AVE/BP at P.O. Box 2141, California City, CA – www.averacing.com – info@averacing.com and at 661.524.1550. ##############

  8. DP RACING has stepped up and offered $1000, in addition top the 60% of entry payback from AVE/Baja Promotions to the Overall motorcycle racer at the next GRAN CARRERA "GP" -DOS, PUNTA BANDA, ENSENADA, BAJA CALIFORNIA - SEPTEMBER 12. The first "GP" at this gorgeous part of Baja that has never been raced on before, AVE/Baja Promotions put on one of the best GPs ever. Every racer who participated just loved the event, the challenges, the panoramas (just south of Ensenada), and the course variations. At the end, everyone wondered why more racers did not show up. To alleviate that problem, Steve Bourgeois, better known as "Seve" decided to put up the $1000 prize money for the next event with the idea that since the September 12 date is an off weekend from SCORE, BITD, WORCS and other series, the the big names in the sport will show up. So far, AVE/Baja Promotions has received over 15 request for entries from some of the top names in off-road, many who will be participating at this week's Baja 500 in Ensenada. AVE/BP offers all kinds of classes from Pros to Sportsman in every division including the popular 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+ Exp and Novice classes plus Pro and Spts ATV. The event is set to start at 10 a.m,. on Friday, September 12, and it's a 2-hr. GP. Attached is the current flyer for the GP. You can also visit: www.averacing.com for more details. 13. For immediate press release… AVE RACING/BAJA PROMOTIONS & EJIDO CORONEL ESTEBAN CANTU SIGN 2015 “PURE UTV” AGREEMENT Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico – November 8, 2014 – Officials from Ejido Coronel Esteban Cantu and AVE Racing/Baja Promotions’ Lou Peralta, who took time out from the Baja 1000, to sign a multi-year agreement/contract that will allow AVE/BP the exclusive right to use their Ejido for two events per year for the sole purposes of including two events as part of the AVE/BP 2015 PURE UTV OFF-ROAD DESERT SERIES, met at the Hotel Las Rosas to sign the agreement. A formal press conference is scheduled in Ensenada early December. Members of the Ejido, including its President, Rafael Ponce Castro (next to AVE/BP CEO, Lou Peralta), singing the multi-year agreement that will allow Peralta to include at least two events of his PURE UTV OFF-ROAD DESERT SERIES in Baja California exclusively in the Ejido. The first event in Baja will take place May 16, 2015 with the running of the PURE “125” consisting of five, 27-plus mile laps inside the Ejido. The course that is already available is unique because of the varying terrain that it will be spectacular. According to Peralta, “We have found possibly the best course in Baja, bar-none. It has everything that is Baja, except perhaps the deep silt. It will feature sand washes and canyons, tight trails and hard-packed two rail roads, a beach run, hill climbs and down hills, all in one lap. A little bit of everything that you see in Baja but in short spurts inside the Ejido.” Peralta also added special “Spectator Areas” will be set aside to allow the thousands of spectators expected from Ensenada and other parts of the Baja Peninsula to watch this unique and epic event, without getting in the way of race traffic as often happens when racing in Baja. The second event in Baja, as part of the Series, will take place September 12, possibly using the same course but this time going the opposite direction, which in fact becomes an entirely new course. Ejido Esteban Cantu has never been used for any type of event so this marks the inaugural event to be held there. Quite a feat for AVE/BP Racing, to obtain such a unique area for their UTV racing. The Ejido extends from the well-known tourist attraction; La Bufadora, all the way around southwest almost to Santo Tomas. Using portions of the Ejido massive terrain, a 27.6-mile course is anticipated to be used as part of The 2015 PURE UTV OFF-ROAD DESERT SERIES. The other four events in the PURE UTV Series consist of the PURE “125”, January 31-California City; the PURE “150” March 28-California City; May 16 in Ensenada; July 18 for the PURE “150” again In California City; and returning to Ensenada for the PURE “200” September 12, then completing the PURE UTV season with the PURE “250” a double points race, October 24 in California City. There is a “Special Award” set up for the two Mexico events. The ENSENADA KUP will be awarded to the fastest and the highest finisher in the two Ensenada events. Pre-running will open the weekend before the event for those who have signed-up and have a wrist band or receipt. There will be no charge to enter the Ejido. On the Thursday before the event, racers from the United States who wish to take advantage of this service, will be met by authorities in Tecate, Baja California, where a reception will welcome them into Mexico and then racers will be escorted from Tecate to Ensenada by Federal Police and members of the State and Municipality Tourism offices to Ensenada. Pre-running will again open Friday before the event from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Registration and Tech inspection takes place in front of race headquarters, Hotel San Nicolas from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The PURE UTV race will start at Noon. Motorcycles and ATVs start at 9 a.m. (four-laps). The award ceremony is scheduled back at the San Nicolas Hotel at 8 pm. Saturday night. The 2015 PURE Series also features the rearranging of a couple of classes and a brand new class for “Turbos” only. Gone is the PURE 700 Class which has been amalgamated with the “850” Class, and this year AVE/BP Racing has split the 900cc and 1000cc Classes to make it even more competitive. All classes, except for the Bone Stock 850 and 1000 classes, which are for Sportsman only, offer Pro and Sportsman categories. More details can be obtained by visiting: www.averacing.com or contacting AVE/BP at info@averacing.com or P.O. Box 2141, California City, CA 93504. #####
  14. With today’s announcement by BITD/Mad Media of the UTV World Championships in Laughlin, NV, Feb 19-22, smack on top of our already scheduled date for the first PURE 125 UTV race, we have been forced to change the date to earlier in the year. Please note that the new schedule (see attached) is for the PURE”125” – January 30-31, 2015, California City, CA. Sorry for the inconvenience to some of you, but we’ve obviously had to make the change. One day, we’ll grow big enough so that others will have to choose their dates around our series. In the meantime, we need to bend and flex a bit. Please note of the new date in the series. Thank you. Lois and Lou Peralta
