  1. I am a mountain bike racer and have recently purchased a 2005 dr-z 400, I hear it's actually easier to climb hills without pedaling. I am looking for some tires to replace the stock ones. This is my first motorcycle and I will use it for pavement(35%) / dirt roads(35%) / trails(30%) up north MI where it's sandy. So, What do you think a good choice would be? I would like a good tire for dirt roads and trails that won't kill me on the pavement. I was looking at Maxxis M7000 Dual Maxx, Michelin Baja or Desert, Dunlop 606's and Trackmaster's. Will any of these fit the bill? Another suggestion? Thanks from a beginner and looking forward to some riding Keith
