Plan an epic trip to Flagstaff

They aren't. I was up there a couple weekends ago. They were closed from June 27th to July 11th. Updates here http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coconino/news/index.shtml
  2. An empty box of bud light with a pair of hello kitty panties right next to it.
  3. Yeah but most people's description's of their trucks includes "eco" in it so it's easy to tell.
  4. Yep. You can use fuelly to see what other's are getting. http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-150/2011/gas%20v6 The numbers aren't that different than the V8's.
  5. Are you going to want your family of 5 to shower every night? A half ton towable TH isn't going to have very big water tanks.
  6. Toy haulers are a lot of work and I wouldn't find it worth it if you were camping one night. I only use my hauler if I'm going to make it a 3 day weekend.

    When you have to poop!

I always have TP and wet wipes with me. This is one reason I prefer my quad over my dirt bike for trail riding. I ride my quad to where I need to go. I sit with one cheek on the tire. Works damn well! Just have to be careful not to run over it when leaving. That would be some nasty roost to fling off. Nope. I don't like to go anywhere else but home (unless they have a bidet). Yes, I own a bidet. I got one immediately after returning from Asia where I had experienced their greatness.
  8. Why is this so hard? Just get the L x W specs of a couple quads off a manufacturer's web site and round up to play it safe and also leave some room to play with between the quads. 2011 Raptor 700R - 72.6 " L x 46.1" L 2011 Grizzly 700 - 81.3" L x 46.5" W Raptor + Grizzly = 153.9" or 12.8' 2 x Grizzly = 162.6" or 13.5' A sport quad could always be rotated sideways so it'll take up only ~4' in the length of the trailer.

    Dilemma! Which Rig to Get?

If you load the 35' to the max won't you exceed the GCWR of your truck? I have a newer 2500HD truck than you and didn't see how I could tow a 35' TH unless I didn't fill the water and fuel tanks 100%.
  10. I haven't ridden all summer and went out to Rolls OHV with a friend of mine on Saturday. We found the old Rolls OHV staging area fenced in and they are growing cactus in there. You now have to stage further down the road. What the heck is happening there? I don't see anything here: http://www.azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/arizona_ohv_trails_places.shtml
  11. It has a spray in bed liner already. What I was planning on doing was patching the holes then taking it in and have the spray in bed liner continued over the rails and then over the patched holes to make it look nice. Unfortunately I can't weld so I'd have to find someone to do it. If I end up getting a fifth wheel hauler then maybe I can find the same hitch and reuse the holes but I'm only looking at 21'-26' haulers and haven't seen them in a fifth wheel.
  12. I just traded in my Chevy half-ton for a used GMC 3/4 ton. The previous owner had a fifth wheel and there are 4 holes, with a 2" diamater, in the bed of the truck. Is there a good way to plug these? Thanks.

    Et Saturday

What time you going to get there? I'm shooting for 8:30-9.

    Et Saturday

I'll be there on Saturday. South track? Haven't been out in 1.5 months almost.

    Overloaded?

Yep. I thought this was an old thread that had been bumped. http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=781237&highlight=
