Open Practice COCR Sat. June 7th

Found this on Pitracer.com posted by '505' "Here you go, another chance for open practice at one of Central Ohio's finest MX facilities. COCR will be open for practice on June 7th, from 10AM-4PM for $20 a rider. Gates will open at 9AM. Minors, please have parent or legal guardian with you in order to ride. If we get a decent turn out, who knows what the future will hold for more open practice possibilities. We will hold our scheduled District 11 race the following day, Sunday June 8th. Camping is available, gate fees for Sundays race will apply."

  4. My buddy broke his chain adjustment bolt that goes into the axle housing on his 2005 LTZ 400. The diagram on Bike Bandit shows that it is a threaded stud in the axle housing, but we cannot get it out. Does anybody know if it is actually threaded? And if so, is it a right hand thread or a left hand thread. Any help would be great.

  6. Thanks for the quick replies. I had thought about a walk behind zero turn mower, but I have a few hills that are pretty long and steep. I would be afraid of the mower wanting to slide down the hill. I don't know from experience, but I have heard that once they start sliding they are hard to stop. As far as the pull behind mower, I'm afraid that all I will be doing is backing up (and not very well either due to the short tongue). Thanks again for the ideas.
  7. I am thinking about getting a quad with a front mount finish mower to use on my hilly, uneven, tree laden yard. I am considering the front mount because I thought it would be more maneuverable than a tow behind since I have a lot of trees to go around and under. I am looking to hear from some people that have, or used, or have any knowledge of how good they work. My main concern is that the mower will not move enough independently of the quad. I can't find a dealer anywhere that can tell me if when I start up a hill, or crest a hill, or go through a fairly wide ditch will the mower follow the terrain, or will it bind up on the mount and break something. All they can tell me is that the mower deck floats under the mower frame, they can't tell me if the frame will pivot up/down, and side/side of the quad. I hope I explained myself well enough to get some good feedback. My other option is a 4x4 mower ($$$$$). Any help will be great.

Thats exactly what I was thinking!
  9. I'm probably just being paranoid, but I don't like seeing puddles of oil under my bike. I have an 02 yz250f. I went riding last week at the track and parked it in the garage when I got home and haven't looked at it since. Today, I went into the garage (9 days later) and there was a small puddle of oil underneath the bike. I found the oil had come out of the cylinder head breather hose (the big hose on the cylinder head cover that runs down to the bottom of the frame). I have never had this happen before and wondered if this was something I should be concerned about or not. A little more info, I had a get off not too long before we loaded up and left the track. The bike laid on its side for a minute or two with the top of the engine heading down hill. Did some oil get up in the hose when it was down and is just working it way out now? Wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. Thanks for the help.

    First helmet cam vid

What kind of helmet cam are you using. The quality looks pretty good for $100
  11. Just wanted to hear from anyone who raced at COCR 3/25 or 3/26. We made some track changes and we are looking for some feedback. In case you didn't notice, the six pack was turned into a table top and a double, the downhill triple is new, and the grass section in the infield is new. Looking for comments good and bad .

Anyone racing at COCR in Sugar Grove, OH 3/25-3/26

Another thing, they are making some track changes this week. The new layout is going to be sweet. More changes to come in April too!
