  1. I ride varied terrain. The adjust ability is what i am looking for. Some weekends i ride rocky Northeast terrain and then i go South and ride whooped out deep sugar sand.
  2. Has anyone successfully swapped in a crf250x rear shock and or front forks?
  3. Yeah i saw that and that's what prompted me to post here. I am looking for a little more info as far as tripple tree modes needed. I guess he shortened the forks as well to XT 10.6 " travel as well as the shock stroke. The shock reservoir looks real close to the pipe even though he shaved some off. i wonder if the oil gets super hot.
  4. What is needed for a fork swap to some easily accessible decent forks and Shock? The fox shock is alot of money so i wonder what other shocks will fit with minimal modifications. I heard someone adapted CRF250X suspension onto a XT.
  5. Do your calves hit the bags when you are up on the pegs? I am thinking of using them like "Steg Pegs" to keep some pressure on my legs and less on my arms.
  6. Has anyone mounted the GL saddlebags and if so, how well do they stay in place?
  7. has this happened to you?
  8. revalving and respringing to suit your weight and riding style.
  9. Thanks,,, DONE DEAL!!!
  10. 180-190lbs
  11. Does anyone want to swap suspension with me? i want stock forks and shock. My setup was resprung and revalved by Stillwell Suspensions for the previous owner and it's too stiff for me. it is valved for a B level enduro rider and has .84 springs in the forks and a 5.6 spring on the shock. suspension was done 7/15. I am in NJ.

  13. I was thinking sensor as well until the blinker light came on too. ill have to check the connections for water and corrosion. Come to think of it, if i was lugging it in the tight sections, the top right light (blinker light) would come on and then go out as i picked up speed. I was thinking it was the charging warning light as i was on the edge of stalling out lugging in second gear navigating a stick farm.
  14. today i rode some pretty gnarly 2 to 3 mile rocky sections of the Michaux Dual Sport. towards the end of the day, at the end of each section, my oil warning lights were blinking as well as the turn signal light was on. I stopped the bike and then restarted it to make sure there was no issue with the injection system. it idled fine and the system light went out in a few seconds as it should. the a nice road ride to the next section with no issues. the next section got rocky again and i was about two miles in and the lights all came on again. I shut it off, and restarted it and the lights went off again. Any idea what the hell is going on? Oh,, it was raining all day too...
